Poland – A total of 223 GLP fixtures were deployed across both stages at CLOUT Festival 2026, one of Poland’s largest hip-hop festivals. This reflects a commercial logic as much as a creative one, favouring fixtures that designers already specify, that programmers already know how to operate, and that can be sourced in additional quantity from the market when a production calls for it. The rig comprised 60 JDC Burst 1, 74 JDC2 IP, 50 Creos and 39 WildBar 16. Overall technical production was handled by ARAM, Poland’s largest event technology and technical production company.
For AV LIGHT, GLP’s official distribution partner in Poland, the deployment at CLOUT Festival demonstrates how quickly the manufacturer is gaining presence on major Polish stages and in technical riders. That is not solely a question of growing unit numbers in the rental market, but equally of designers, programmers and touring crews becoming more familiar with the products.
With 60 units, the GLP JDC Burst 1 was present at CLOUT Festival in considerable quantity. The weatherproof hybrid strobe now forms part of the inventory of numerous Polish rental companies, and it appears with increasing regularity on the technical riders of large concert and festival productions.
For rental companies, rider acceptance is an important factor. The more frequently a fixture is specified by designers, the more familiar programmers are with operating it, and the more readily additional stock can be sourced from the market when required, the more dependably an investment of that kind can be deployed and utilised across multiple productions.
The JDC Burst 1 combines strobe, wash, pixel effects and graphic looks in a single fixture. In current concert productions, where rapid transitions between hard white hits, large-area colour, pixel chases and intense strobe moments are called for, the fixture can be applied with corresponding versatility.
A further 74 GLP JDC2 IP were deployed at CLOUT Festival. At that quantity, the fixtures are no longer used simply as individual units, but can be combined into a consistent visual structure within the stage design, allowing movements, waves, gradients and graphic effects to be laid out across larger groups of fixtures.
In that respect, the JDC2 IP follows a development increasingly visible in contemporary lighting design, in which fixtures no longer perform exclusively conventional lighting duties. Instead, they are treated as elements of an overarching visual architecture. For festival work, there is a further consideration. The JDC2 IP is built to IP65 specifications and is therefore designed for the uncertainties of open-air production.
50 GLP Creos extended the CLOUT rig with large-area wash looks and a light source that can itself be integrated into the stage design as a visual element. 39 GLP WildBar 16 created additional linear and graphic structures within the lighting architecture. Both fixtures likewise offer IP65 protection.
ARAM took responsibility for technical production on both stages at CLOUT Festival 2026. The company handled the planning and implementation of the multimedia and lighting systems, along with preparation, logistics, installation, configuration and on-site technical support.
With numerous international artists on the festival line-up, the technical setup had to accommodate different touring teams, technical riders and individual show concepts within a shared festival infrastructure. The availability of established, rider-ready systems accordingly plays an important role in productions of this scale.
For AV LIGHT, CLOUT Festival is therefore representative of GLP’s current development in Poland. From the distributor’s perspective, what matters is not only how many units reach the market. As availability rises, so does the likelihood that products will be used on major productions. That in turn raises their profile among designers and programmers, and it can lead to them being specified more frequently.
With the JDC Burst 1, that process is already well advanced. The extensive use of the JDC2 IP, Creos and WildBar 16 at CLOUT Festival indicates that the wider GLP portfolio is increasingly moving in the same direction.
