Argentina – A day of live demonstrations, training, and professional exchange brought together technicians, operators, rental companies, and distributors from different regions of Argentina. With Fabián Mercado leading the presentations, Laserworld focused on its solutions, the creative possibilities of laser technology, and safety as a fundamental principle of its use.
Bringing together professionals from across the country, Laserworld and its new distributor in Argentina, ELECOM, held an event in Buenos Aires dedicated to presenting the brand’s solutions and exploring their applications in entertainment and technical production.
The event combined live demonstrations, technical explanations, and ongoing interaction with attendees.
The diversity of the audience, which included operators, technicians, rental companies, and end users, brought energy to an event that generated interest in both the equipment on display and the knowledge being shared.
The presentation also represented an important step in Laserworld’s expansion strategy in Argentina. Pablo Comersi, Sales Manager at ELECOM, explains the context behind the event: “The initiative arose primarily from the intention of introducing the brand to our market. Although it has a strong presence in other regions, it is still relatively new in our country.”

Demonstrations, new products, and creative possibilities
One of the key figures of the event was Fabián Mercado, Laserworld’s Sales Manager for Latin America, who led a clear, educational, and dynamic presentation.
“The objective was to bring our technology closer to industry professionals, share knowledge with them, and show them the possibilities offered by our current laser systems,” Mercado explains.
Among the equipment showcased were the CS-6000 micro, CS-24.000 Shownet, DS-15.000 IP65, DS-30.000 IP65, the impressive ScanBar 10RGB, and the battery-powered portable CUBE 7 system.

The live shows during the presentation, controlled using ShowController software and the ShowNET protocol, offered a glimpse into the direction in which laser technology is evolving, a transformation Mercado highlighted during his presentation: “The industry is introducing increasingly compact equipment with higher power, better graphic quality, and different possibilities for use in other areas, such as artist productions and art installations.”
Attendees’ preferences reflected this variety of applications. According to Pablo: “Technicians working in nightclubs and event venues showed particular interest in the CS and ScanBar series, while rental companies focused on the DS series, designed for outdoor applications and touring. Operators, meanwhile, took advantage of the event to gain a deeper understanding of the software tools. There was genuinely great interest in the entire product range.”

Safety at the center of the presentation
One of the most notable aspects of the event was the emphasis Fabián Mercado placed on safety throughout his presentation.
His session went far beyond introducing product features or demonstrating visual effects: he provided a detailed explanation of the principles that must be understood when working with high-power lasers.
“When working with high-power laser technology, it is essential to understand how the equipment operates: from color formation and balancing to scanner speed, beam divergence, and how beams behave at different projection distances. But above all, there is something we must never overlook: safety. Understanding and following safety standards is essential to working with this technology responsibly.”

Mercado’s clear explanations, practical advice, and willingness to answer questions made this segment one of the most valuable moments of the event. In a room filled with professionals from different backgrounds and levels of experience, training played just as important a role as the demonstrations themselves.
For ELECOM, this educational component was one of the main reasons for organizing the event. The intention was not simply to showcase products, but to provide the knowledge needed to select, configure, and use the solutions appropriately.

An event with nationwide reach
The interest generated in Buenos Aires also highlighted the opportunities Laserworld sees in Argentina, particularly in sectors where visual effects are playing an increasingly prominent role.
“Demand is growing mainly in live shows, festivals, concerts, and also corporate events. In Argentina, we see particular opportunities in the entertainment sector and among technical production companies,” Fabián comments.
The initiative will continue beyond Buenos Aires. ELECOM announced an upcoming presentation in Mendoza, organized together with one of its distributors, with Mercado once again participating as a speaker.

The company also plans to expand its local offering by introducing products from the CUBE and PL series over the coming months.
The event received a positive response and maintained an atmosphere of active participation throughout. Its organization, the pace of the demonstrations, and the accessibility of the specialists helped create an experience that combined learning with direct exposure to the technology.
For Laserworld and ELECOM, Buenos Aires marked the beginning of a new phase of commercial development, with training and technical knowledge as two fundamental pillars.
The event made it clear that the creative potential of laser technology goes hand in hand with technical knowledge and, above all, its safe and responsible use.
