Argentina – With the support of Todomúsica, dBTechnologies’ distributor in Argentina, the new VIO L1608 is now available in the country. During CAPER in Buenos Aires, Gabriel Ortega, the brand’s Technical Support and Applications Engineer for Latin America, shared its features and the possibilities it offers for different professional sound applications.
The arrival of new technologies in the Latin American market always represents an opportunity to expand production capabilities. On this occasion, dBTechnologies has an important announcement for the region: the VIO L1608 is now available in Argentina through its local distributor, Todomúsica.
During CAPER Buenos Aires, Gabriel Ortega, dBTechnologies’ Technical Support and Applications Engineer for Latin America, spoke with LATAM STAGE about this three-way active line array and the features it offers in a compact format.
“Compact, small, yet multipurpose,” Ortega said when describing the system, which delivers 1,600 W RMS of power and features two 8-inch low-frequency drivers and a coaxial transducer for mid and high frequencies.
The VIO L1608 reaches a maximum sound pressure level of 138.5 dB SPL, with a horizontal dispersion of 110 degrees, features that make it suitable for projects of different sizes.
The incorporation of the A2Net digital audio protocol and FIR filtering technology are also part of this offering, combining acoustic architecture and processing tools to meet the current demands of sound reinforcement.
Ortega cited “theaters, venues, and large-scale events” among its potential applications, highlighting the versatility of a solution designed to adapt to different working environments.
Beyond its specifications, the availability of the VIO L1608 in Argentina represents an important step for dBTechnologies and its regional presence, bringing new technological alternatives closer to sound companies, integrators, and professionals.
