Australia – Strong Pilates is implementing an integrated lighting and audio control solution based on Visual Productions DaliCore across its new gym facilities in Australia. Developed by Pridec, one of Adelaide’s leading electrical contractors, the project combines DALI lighting and audio management in a centralized, intuitive, and flexible system designed to match the energy and dynamics of every workout.
Alex from Pridec led the electrical integration, taking on the challenge of delivering an elegant, easy-to-operate solution capable of controlling both DALI lighting and the gym’s audio system simultaneously. Once DALI luminaires became part of the project, Visual Productions emerged as the ideal choice.
“Visual Productions’ DaliCore was the perfect solution. After connecting DaliCore to the network, we detected the DALI luminaires, programmed the scenes, and established communication with Q-SYS in a matter of minutes,” explains Alex.
The integration made use of Q-SYS plugins to incorporate DaliCore directly into its User Control Interface (UCI). This enabled Pridec to deliver a fully integrated solution that allows lighting and audio to be automated from a single platform, demonstrating the compatibility between Visual Productions and Q-SYS in projects where both systems need to operate in coordination.
The solution also offers flexibility for future control requirements, thanks to its built-in DMX-to-DALI conversion, which enables integration with professional lighting consoles and systems.
In an environment where energy and rhythm are essential to the experience, DaliCore allows the lighting to adapt to the different stages of a workout, creating the right atmosphere from the beginning of each session through to the final push.
With this project, Visual Productions demonstrates how efficient integration between lighting and audio can simplify operation, enhance the user experience, and provide a flexible platform for modern fitness facilities.
