This was one of the main objectives of the audio project developed at Carnesa Rome, a hospitality venue located in the Italian capital, where Montarbo technology contributes to creating a seamless listening experience across the entire space.
The installation features 27 MiniBO-5M compact active loudspeakers, strategically distributed to ensure even sound coverage throughout the different areas of the venue. The result is clear and intelligible audio reproduction, with comfortable listening levels adapted to the characteristics of each environment.
One of the most important aspects of the project is the active design of the MiniBO-5M. By integrating amplification directly into each loudspeaker, the system eliminates the need for bulky external amplifiers and significantly reduces the amount of equipment required. This was particularly relevant for Carnesa Rome, where maintaining a clean and elegant environment was an essential part of the installation concept.
The entire system is managed through a matrix, allowing audio signals to be distributed and controlled independently across the different zones. This configuration provides the flexibility to adapt sound to the specific needs of each area, without requiring large equipment racks equipped with multiple amplifiers and zone mixers.
As a result, the installation maintains a compact and efficient technical infrastructure without compromising comprehensive system control. MiniBO-5M: Versatility in a compact format
Montarbo’s MiniBO-5M is a two-way active loudspeaker primarily designed for fixed installations and professional audio applications, while its versatility also makes it suitable for multimedia environments and small PA systems.
Its configuration includes a built-in two-channel mixer and Bluetooth® stereo connectivity, expanding its range of applications from background music systems to compact portable setups. It also features a dedicated DSP with four selectable presets, allowing its performance to be optimized according to placement and operating conditions.
Despite its compact dimensions and lightweight polypropylene enclosure, the MiniBO-5M delivers impressive performance. It is equipped with a 5.25-inch woofer and a 1-inch compression driver, powered by a Class-D amplifier rated at 60 W RMS and 120 W peak.
Installation is equally flexible. The enclosure features two integrated M10 mounting points for fixed installations and is compatible with optional Wall Bracket and Tilt Bracket accessories, facilitating wall or ceiling mounting.
