The new Shure solution combines audio, video, intelligent processing, and control into a single platform designed to simplify the implementation of meeting rooms and collaborative spaces. Cristian Navarrete, Integration Specialist at MMT Chile, explains why the company sees this technology as one of the most significant solutions for the local market.

The evolution of collaborative workspaces is redefining the needs of AV integration. Hybrid meeting rooms, classrooms, auditoriums, and corporate environments require solutions capable of delivering a consistent experience regardless of room size or installation complexity.

With this vision, MMT Chile is preparing to introduce the new Shure IntelliMix Bar Pro Kit, a solution designed to simplify the deployment of video collaboration spaces through an integrated platform for audio, video, and control.

During InfoComm, Cristian Navarrete, Integration Specialist at the Chilean company, visited the Shure booth to experience this new solution firsthand and evaluate its potential for the Chilean market.

“The IntelliMix Bar Pro Kit is a new Shure product that complements the ecosystem designed for corporate customers, classrooms, small meeting rooms, medium-sized rooms, and even larger spaces,” he explained. “More than a standalone device, this bar is part of Shure’s strategy to unify audio, video, and control within a single environment. The system integrates a collaboration bar with IntelliMix DSP processing, a touch panel for native Microsoft Teams Rooms management, and an architecture designed to accelerate the deployment of new meeting spaces.”

For Navarrete, one of the solution’s greatest strengths is its ability to adapt to different integration scenarios.

“Versatility is one of its greatest strengths. IntelliMix technology allows the new bar to adapt to small, medium, and large rooms in applications such as offices, classrooms, and auditoriums,” he emphasized.

This flexibility is supported by a suite of technologies developed by Shure, including automatic beamforming microphones, acoustic echo cancellation, AI-powered noise reduction, automatic participant tracking, and intelligent camera framing. The goal is to deliver a consistent experience without relying on multiple external devices or complex system configurations.

Another aspect that MMT considers particularly valuable is its integration with Shure’s unified communications ecosystem.

“The new bar complements the existing ecosystem, allowing us to expand the product portfolio for unified communications.”

This compatibility enables the IntelliMix Bar Pro Kit to coexist with other Shure solutions, simplifying the management of projects that combine different room types within the same organization. In addition, it can be configured using the Designer and ShureCloud platforms, providing remote management, monitoring, and update capabilities for system integrators and IT departments.

Ease of deployment represents the third major advantage of the solution.

“With a single network cable, it’s ready to operate, with simple controls that can be installed on a table or mounted on a wall,” said Navarrete.

PoE+ power and connectivity, combined with integrated processing, control, and video collaboration within a single solution, significantly reduce installation and commissioning times—an increasingly valuable advantage in corporate and educational projects.

The arrival of this platform represents an opportunity to bring the Chilean market a solution aligned with the new realities of hybrid collaboration. The company is not only planning its commercialization but also creating a space where customers and system integrators can experience the solution before implementing it in real-world projects.

“The new Shure IntelliMix Bar Pro Kit will be arriving in Chile very soon. At MMT, we’ll have it in our showroom so customers can see it, evaluate it, and experience live demonstrations,” announced Navarrete.

With this addition, MMT continues to strengthen its offering for the AV integration market, bringing technologies that address the evolution of collaborative workspaces and the growing importance of unified communications.
