England – The UNREAL 120 from LaserAnimation Sollinger was recognized with the PLASA Innovation Award 2026 during PLASA Show, in Olympia, London. The award recognizes products considered to be the most innovative of the year and, in this case, the jury particularly highlighted the projector’s power-to-size ratio, its low weight, and its color management capabilities.
Manufactured in Germany, the UNREAL 120 delivers a guaranteed optical power of 120 W in a unit that weighs just 15.5 kg and measures 34.5 x 28.1 x 22.3 cm. This combination was one of the main arguments behind the recognition, as, according to the jury, it sets a new standard in power-to-weight ratio within professional show laser technology.
The jury focused on three features. The first is precisely its power-to-size ratio, which makes it possible to have a projector considerably more compact than other systems in the same power category, despite its high optical output. The second is its low weight, a particularly relevant advantage for transportation, rigging and touring productions.
The third highlighted feature is the integrated color management. The system incorporates CTO color temperature control and a factory-calibrated white balance preset, allowing precise color matching between multiple units or uniform white reproduction using a single unit.

The UNREAL 120 is the result of the passion and experience that have gone into every detail of this projector, from development and design to manufacturing. The recognition comes as part of LaserAnimation Sollinger’s new UNREAL family, which, in addition to the UNREAL 120, includes the UNREAL 60, with a guaranteed optical power of 60 W. Both projectors are designed for outdoor use and feature IP65 protection, targeting professional applications such as large-scale events, permanent installations and touring productions.
With the UNREAL 120, LaserAnimation Sollinger offers an unusual combination within the professional laser segment: high optical power, compact dimensions and low weight, together with color management tools designed to maintain consistency in applications where performance and precision are critical.
