Mexico – Together with WHOLESTAGE, its representative in Mexico, L-Acoustics presented an experience that explored the different stages of a professional audio project. New products, processing tools and the creative possibilities of L-ISA took center stage in its demonstration room in Mexico City.
At InfoComm América Latina 2026, L-Acoustics proposed looking beyond sound systems to focus on everything that happens before, during and after their implementation. Its demonstration room offered a journey through the tools and technologies involved in developing a project, from initial planning to the creation of immersive sound experiences.
Alex Soto, applications engineer for Latin America and the Caribbean at L-Acoustics, explained the concept behind this initiative, accompanied by Marco Pineda, audio project manager at WHOLESTAGE, the brand’s representative in Mexico.
“These sessions are focused on showing the workflow we use at L-Acoustics when developing a project. From design and optimization to operation, calibration and, finally, the creation of immersive audio experiences. At an event primarily aimed at integration companies, it is essential to understand how all these stages relate to one another and the importance of following an organized process,” Soto explained, highlighting the importance of approaching each stage in an organized manner, particularly at an event geared toward audiovisual integration professionals.

From design to the immersive experience
The demonstration presented a journey through the different stages of the workflow: design, optimization, operation, calibration and creation. This sequence showed how L-Acoustics tools work together and support the development of an installation or production.
Among the new products and technologies mentioned by Soto were the L1 system and Source Intelligence, a technology designed to address noise in voice signals.
The presentation also included L-ISA, the company’s immersive audio platform, and its creative applications for different entertainment formats. One of the highlights was L-Acoustics DJ, an application associated with L-ISA and designed for electronic music, which allows a stereo signal to be separated into multiple stems to expand the possibilities for spatialization and sound creation.
The presentation connected two dimensions of professional work: the technical precision required to design and calibrate a system, and the creative tools that make it possible to take full advantage of that system during a live experience.

An experience that continues in Mexico
WHOLESTAGE’s participation also highlighted the opportunity to bring these technologies closer to professionals in the Mexican market beyond the days of the trade show.
Marco Pineda points out that the company has its own demonstration space in Mexico City: “We also have our Demo Room, the Black Box, here at our offices in Mexico City, where visitors can experience all these technologies.” Thus, L-Acoustics’ presence at InfoComm América Latina went beyond presenting new products. The initiative demonstrated how design, processing, calibration and immersive audio are part of the same workflow, with tools that professionals can continue exploring with WHOLESTAGE in Mexico.
