Italy – On November 3, 2026, Claypaky revealed the first ace of its four-card campaign: the B-EYE K30 FX, nicknamed “The Entertainer“. The creative flagship of the newly launched B-EYE Multilens Family, the K30 FX builds on the proven B-EYE concept with a double-rod LED architecture, placing an RGBL and a Cold White emitter behind every lens in an IP66-rated chassis. It layers beam, wash, Kaleidoscopic and eye-candy effects, pixel mapping and high-impact white strobe and blinder capabilities in a single luminaire, designed for touring rigs, outdoor festivals, broadcast stages, permanent installations and TV productions.
For over a decade, the B-EYE family has defined what a multi-lens fixture can achieve: the K20 established the benchmark, the K25 raised it and the K30 redefined the wash light. The K30 FX opens the next chapter by addressing a fundamental industry challenge: delivering layers of emotion, hard white energy and complex visual choreography without adding fixtures or worrying about the weather.
Giovanni Zucchinali, Claypaky Product Portfolio Manager, says: “B-EYE K30 FX is Claypaky’s answer to the demands of touring productions and other applications requiring wash, effects, and powerful white strobe/blinder capabilities without adding extra fixtures. This product sets a new benchmark in the multifunctional wash/FX category, taking the platform’s iconic kaleidoscopic identity to the next level in a fully camera-ready, outdoor-rated touring flagship.”
Two sources, one optic
The K30 FX is built around a primary RGBL engine (37 x 55W) delivering the full color range, from rich pastels to punchy saturates and clean skin tones, with camera-ready white calibration (CRI > 82). A dedicated Cold White layer (36 x 55W) adds a second, independent dimension of intensity for white strobe bursts, overlay effects and white-on-color layering. With the TwinRod design, each outer RGBL source is paired with a Cold White LED in the same compact holder, behind the same lens, while the central lens remains pure RGBL. The white is born exactly where the color is, so beams stay clean and consistent, true to the signature B-EYE look.
Motion that never repeats
A new dual rotating lens system, with an outer 18-lens ring and an inner 19-lens module, lets designers control each ring independently in speed, direction and timing. Combined with individual pixel mapping across both the RGBL and Cold White layers and endless Pan rotation, it produces layered optical effects that keep evolving throughout a show. The onboard Advanced Layering Engine adds console-triggerable FX macros covering both engines, for fast cueing on tight productions.
Built for the elements and the road
IP66 protection brings the K30 FX’s full creative output outdoors. The DryCore active defogging and cooling system keeps the front lens clear in cold, humid or condensing conditions and switches to active cooling when the fixture runs hot. The SunSafe Protection System repositions the head the instant signal is lost, a Tilt Safety Brake locks the head after power-down, and the Eyelid, a rubber bumper on a steel core, absorbs knocks during handling and rigging while doubling as a quick-mount frame for additional diffuser filters. High-torque stepper motors drive a 3.7°-57° zoom, designed to hold its position through fast moves and steep hanging angles.
One family, unified programming
As part of the B-EYE Multilens Family, the K30 FX shares control behavior, color logic and operational protocols with the rest of the range, so cues scale across fixture sizes and workflows stay consistent from rig to rig. The fixtures are fully compatible with CloudIO.
