The sky of Lima was filled with lights, emotion, and cutting-edge technology during Shakira’s highly anticipated “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” World Tour show. Behind the impressive visual display that accompanied every note and movement of the Colombian star was the DBLUX staff, led by Andrés Cuadros, who firmly relied on CHAUVET Professional lighting to mark a turning point in live shows in Peru.
Although the Barranquilla-born singer had canceled the concert the night before due to an abdominal ailment, the recent Grammy winner for Best Latin Pop Album delivered a performance that delighted thousands of fans with songs from her new album, the title track of her upcoming Latin American tour.
Shakira made history at Lima’s National Stadium by achieving a sold-out performance for the third consecutive time. After 14 years, Shakira reconnected with the Peruvian public, singing her best songs, such as “Monotonia,” “Quiero vivir la vida,” “Te aviso, te anuncia” (I’ll give you notice, I’ll announce it in English), “Soltera,” “Loca,” “La bicicleta,” “La tortura,” “Inevitable,” and “Waka Waka,” to name a few. The setlist consisted of 30 songs, beginning with “La Fuerte” and ending with “BZRP Session #53.”
As is her custom, the Colombian singer took advantage of her concert to send a moving message of empowerment to women. In one of the many moments in which Shakira interacts with her fans, she said, “After each day, women wake up stronger, and if we have to cry, we cry.” The singer’s words drew screams from her audience.

Shakira dazzled with her sensuality in every one of her movements, captivating the audience’s gaze.
DBLUX is a Peruvian company specializing in professional lighting for large-scale events, known in the industry for offering advanced technical solutions for concerts, live events, festivals, theater, and audiovisual productions. Its CEO, Andrés Cuadros, is a leading figure in the development of the sector in Peru, bringing decades of experience and collaborating with top-tier international brands.
DBLUX is characterized by its solid inventory of state-of-the-art luminaires, predominantly those designed and manufactured by CHAUVET Professional, and by its active participation in large-scale technical installations for internationally renowned artists.
In projects such as the Shakira concert, DBLUX not only acts as an equipment supplier but also as a strategic partner in the design, implementation, and technical operation of the lighting system, providing know-how, technology, and comprehensive logistical support. This is where Chauvet becomes a staunch ally of the Peruvian rental company.
“I have always been convinced that Chauvet delivers superior quality at a fair price, even better than many other traditional brands on the market,” said Cuadros, who has more than three decades of experience in the industry.
For Shakira’s “Las Mujeres Ya no Lloran” World Tour, DBLUX deployed a lighting arsenal. The production utilized a powerful combination of 272 CHAUVET Professional fixtures, generating a great visual impact on one of the most important stages of Latin pop. These fixtures included 120 Maverick MK1 Hybrids, 94 Maverick Storm 1 Hybrids, 30 Maverick Storm 4 Profiles, and 28 Ovation B-565FCs.
Each fixture was precisely selected to capture different moments and atmospheres of the concert. “From the most intimate passages to the most vibrant climaxes, the lighting was delivered with power, color, and reliability. The fixtures stood out on their own; their ability to fill the spaces with light is impressive,” added Cuadros.
One of the most magical moments, according to Andrés Cuadros, was when Shakira stood center stage, framed by a wall of Maverick Storm 1 Hybrids. “It was a visually powerful moment that connected the audience with the pure emotion of the show. Without a doubt, it was an unforgettable moment.”
In addition to the visual impact, the technical performance was impeccable, reflecting a fluid flow of work. Chauvet’s lighting power helped highlight the main stage and maintain good visibility under the darkness. “Chauvet products are super easy to install and program. The guys knew exactly how to operate and configure them,” Cuadros emphasized, also highlighting the reliability of the fixtures to meet the demands of a large-scale outdoor show.
Andrés Cuadros also highlighted the close relationship with the Chauvet team: “Paula Ortiz and I have been friends for years, and Stephane Gressier has always been there to support us. I even had the honor of meeting Albert Chauvet, CEO and founder of the company, a unique experience.” The technical support, after-sales service, and training were key to consolidating a solid and lasting collaboration.
Regarding the future of CHAUVET Professional, Cuadros has no doubt: “I sense that the future will be bright. They are already a benchmark for many international riders, and the market is recognizing them as leaders in innovation.”
“We are very grateful to Andrés Cuadros and DBLUX, who have shown trust and support in CHAUVET Professional since its inception. Having CHAUVET Professional fixtures be part of their success, growth, and the magic and passion they display is an honor,” acknowledged Paula Ortiz.
With this production, DBLUX and Chauvet not only lit a stage, but also ignited a new era in live entertainment in Latin America, proving that technology, when used with vision and passion, can transform a night into an unforgettable experience.
