The Argentine professional lighting market welcomes a new key player. BVS has been appointed the official distributor of CHAUVET Professional and ChamSys in Argentina, establishing a partnership aimed at strengthening the presence of both brands through a strategy focused on market development, training, and regional expansion.

The appointment marks another milestone in the growth of BVS, a company founded 23 years ago that has steadily expanded its business from broadcast integration into technology integration projects, IT infrastructure, entertainment, and audiovisual solutions.
“BVS started as a company dedicated exclusively to broadcast integration. Over the years, we built partnerships with different brands, which allowed us to enter new markets and reach new types of customers. Today, we are a technology integration company serving the broadcast, entertainment, and IT industries,” explains Pía Favelukes, Commercial Manager at BVS.
With offices in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile, Peru, and Ecuador, the company now aims to bring that experience into a market segment where it sees significant growth potential.
A Partnership Built on Experience
The relationship between the two companies did not begin with the signing of the agreement.
BVS had previously worked with Kino Flo, one of the brands within the Chauvet group, creating a relationship with the manufacturer before expanding into a much broader distribution agreement.
“During NAB, we began conversations with Paula and the entire team, and very recently we officially finalized the agreement to include the complete line of lighting fixtures and consoles in our solutions portfolio,” says Favelukes.
For Paula Ortiz, Market Development Manager for Latin America at Chauvet, the appointment of BVS is part of a clearly defined growth strategy for the Argentine market.
“Argentina is a key market, and through this new chapter with BVS we reaffirm our commitment to continuing to drive its growth and development in the country. We are very happy and excited about this partnership and to have BVS as the official distributor of the Chauvet brands in Argentina.”
That commitment has already begun to take shape through the first Partner Day organized by both companies, where Paula Ortiz and Diego González, Product Specialist for Latin America, presented the latest lighting and control solutions.

Beyond Broadcast
The arrival of CHAUVET Professional and ChamSys also represents BVS’s entry into a market segment where the company anticipates significant growth.
“We also want to establish ourselves in a market where we have not yet had a presence, such as live entertainment. The idea is to continue strengthening what we already know while also expanding into new segments,” says Favelukes.
The strategy includes an ongoing schedule of technical and commercial activities over the coming months.
“We will be organizing different events and meeting opportunities to showcase the brands,” she adds.
This initiative will be complemented by the gradual addition of demonstration equipment, allowing the company to bring the solutions directly to customers, system integrators, and lighting designers.

A Portfolio for Multiple Applications
One of the aspects BVS valued most during the onboarding process was the versatility of the CHAUVET Professional and ChamSys portfolio, expanding the range of solutions it can offer its customers by incorporating technologies capable of addressing a wide variety of applications.
“It applies to everything—from corporate buildings and live events to television studios. It allows us to respond to all kinds of requirements,” summarizes Favelukes.
This versatility naturally aligns with the profile BVS has built over the past several years as a technology integrator.
The combination of professional lighting, control systems, audiovisual infrastructure, and integration projects enables the company to address applications where multiple markets increasingly converge around the same technological needs.
Backed by the global strength of CHAUVET Professional and ChamSys, BVS’s expertise, and a strategy focused on training, demonstrations, and close customer engagement, this partnership marks the beginning of a new chapter aimed at expanding the reach of both brands throughout Argentina.
