With technical direction by LIGHT MOTION and the support of CHAUVET Professional, SESC Franca completely renewed its lighting system as part of a comprehensive modernization plan. The installation, led by Igor Silva, meets the demands of a multifunctional cultural center with a technological approach that combines precision, efficiency, and versatility to deliver high-level experiences to the public.

Based in São Paulo and with a strong presence throughout Brazil, Light Motion has established itself as a key player in professional lighting system integration projects.
With a technical and strategic approach, Light Motion – Lumentech is actively involved in large-scale installations in cultural, educational, and entertainment venues. One of its most recent projects took place at SESC Franca, a unit of the Serviço Social do Comércio (Social Service of Commerce) in the interior of São Paulo, part of a national network dedicated to the cultural, social, and sports development of communities.
As part of a modernization plan, the center incorporated a new lighting system designed to enhance the public experience and optimize the use of its multifunctional facilities. Technical coordination was led by Igor Silva, Technical Support Manager at Light Motion, who led the integration process alongside CHAUVET Professional, a brand chosen for its reliability, efficiency, and versatility to meet the challenges of this multidisciplinary space.
Igor Silva, a technical vision with a restless soul.
Born in São Paulo and trained through daily practice, Igor Silva defines himself as passionate about technology and innovation. “My journey in lighting began as a self-taught process, driven by my interest in technology and innovation,” he says.
Currently, he divides his time between two key roles: as managing partner at Lumentech and as technical coordinator at Light Motion, where he leads installations and ensures excellence in every project. “I developed a technical and strategic vision for lighting, always seeking efficient and innovative solutions,” he affirms, convinced that light not only illuminates but transforms.
Located in the city of Franca, in the interior of the state of São Paulo, the SESC is a space focused on promoting social and cultural well-being with diverse and accessible programming. The need to renew the lighting system arose as part of a comprehensive modernization plan. The objective was clear: “To enhance the visitor experience through advanced technology,” says Igor.

The choice of CHAUVET Professional and a top-notch execution.
Igor’s connection to the project came through Light Motion, the official distributor of CHAUVET Professional in Brazil. “From that moment on, I became fully involved in the conception and execution of the project, with the challenge of ensuring a flawless implementation in technical and aesthetic terms.”
Compared to the initial proposal, the final project exceeded expectations. “We adapted some solutions to better respond to the specific challenges of the space, incorporating more advanced technologies and precise adjustments that optimized the quality and functionality of the system,” he explains.
The choice of CHAUVET Professional luminaires was no coincidence. In a multifunctional and demanding environment like that of the SESC Franca, equipment capable of maintaining sustained high performance in every situation was required. “The decision to use Chauvet luminaires was motivated by the quality and innovation offered by the brand,” says Igor, also highlighting their reliability as a key element.
In addition to technical quality, another determining factor was the durability of the products and the technology applied in their design. “They were decisive aspects in ensuring that everything worked perfectly,” he states.
The project covered a variety of spaces with very different needs: from auditoriums and presentation rooms to areas for community use. To select the ideal model for each case, criteria such as light intensity, coverage angle, energy efficiency, and functionality were considered. “The idea was to guarantee high-quality, versatile, and functional lighting that would meet the demands of the project and the people who use this space every day.”
Igor emphasizes that the choice was based on three pillars: efficiency, versatility, and high performance. “We achieved a technical and aesthetic result without sacrificing efficiency,” he summarizes.
Each fixture was chosen for its adaptability to the project’s diverse spaces and requirements. Forty-eight COLORdash Par-H12X IP washes were used, offering over 4,500 lumens of output, an IP65 rating, multiple dimmer curves, and remote control via DMX/RDM. Thirty-two COLORdash Par H7X fixtures were also incorporated for their flicker-free dimming and fluid color mixing.
To cover the stage areas with a warm, diffuse beam, 32 Ovation 915-FC fixtures were used, RGBAL Fresnels with motorized zoom (30°–85°), high CRI, and 16-bit dimming. In addition, 14 Strike 4 fixtures were installed, featuring powerful 100W LEDs per cell and high-impact strobe effects.
The set was completed with eight Color S fixture Strike M, IP65 hybrid strobes; 8 units of Ovation F-145WW, warm white Fresnels with 16° to 65° zoom and silent operation, ideal for theater and studio use; 2 units of Well Fit, wireless and rechargeable LED uplights with W-DMX connectivity; and 2 units of Well STX 180, IP65 LED tubes for pixel mapping effects with 16 control zones.
The system was operated via two Chamsys QuickQ10 consoles, offering intuitive programming and complete control over each scene.
Compared to other brands, CHAUVET Professional offers a combination that is hard to match: innovation, reliability, and specialized technical support. “The difference is noticeable in the performance, durability, and how technology supports every design decision,” says Igor.
His close relationship with the brand was also key: “That relationship gives me in-depth knowledge of the products,” he explains, adding: “Thanks to that, we achieved an appropriate choice for each space and smooth logistics. The partnership with Chauvet facilitated technical support and contributed to high-quality execution.”

Challenges overcome, well-lit solutions.
Like any large-scale project, the installation presented unforeseen events. “Technical adjustments, construction times, and coordination between departments were some of the challenges. However, the team’s experience and meticulous approach to planning made the difference.”
Igor was involved from start to finish: “I was directly involved in the organization, specification, and coordination of the installation. I oversaw every stage to ensure everything ran smoothly.” He also received after-sales support and training from Light Motion: “It was key to ensuring the equipment’s optimal operation from the start.”
During the installation, one of the biggest challenges became a memorable milestone. “It was challenging to create the desired effect, but after a few adjustments, we achieved a surprising result that received praise from the entire team,” Igor recalls. That moment reaffirmed the excellence of the work and motivated the team to strive for more.
Furthermore, the project required compatibility between various technologies. “The luminaires were efficiently integrated with other equipment in a carefully planned project,” he notes.
Beyond the technical aspects, the main objective was always to enhance the audience experience. “I hope the lighting installation creates a more immersive atmosphere at the events,” Igor affirms.
With light as an ally, every corner of the cultural center takes on a new meaning, enhancing the visitor experience and consolidating a quality standard that projects into the future. A renovation that not only illuminates, but also inspires and highlights the power of imagination with top-level technology. In Igor’s words: “With CHAUVET Professional technology as our ally, we continue to focus on innovation and excellence in every new lighting challenge.”
