Italy – UK lighting console and media server manufacturer Avolites will exhibit at the MIR Rimini expo in Italy on its own section of Italian distributor Audio Effetti s.r.l.’s pavilion in Hall A2 – where it will showcase the latest Avolites lighting and visual control / integration products.

Having a strong presence at MIR underlines the importance of this longstanding show as a hub for the European entertainment technology community. Avolites’ attendance reinforces its dedication to designing and offering the latest visual control solutions, and it will be highlighting its innovative product ranges.

It also underlines the vibrancy and value of the Italian market and the buzz of excitement around the expo event in attracting visitors from all over Europe and further afield international destinations.

The Avolites section of the stand will be spacious and demonstrate the newest range of D-Series control consoles – the D3. This is a fresh control concept that unites power, performance, and portability. The D3 offers a family of five outstanding compact, stylish, and fully-featured packages.

These have been designed and developed for a world constantly on the move with a new and inventive approach from Avolites, which has enjoyed a heightened profile and plenty of R&D investment since becoming ‘A Robe Business’ at the end of 2023.

Smart design, robust engineering, and expedient sizing are at the core of the D3 series’ philosophy.

The D3-010, D3-110, D3 Wing, D3 Core and D3 Touch are all powered by Avolites’ famous Titan software, offering cost-efficient, intuitive programming and operation, coupled with flexible control for multiple lighting solutions.

Additionally, Avo will demonstrate its powerful cutting-edge D9 and D7 lighting consoles and versatile Q-Series media servers.

The media servers will be running both Prism and Ai software platforms, demonstrating the brand’s deep knowledge and understanding of the need for seamless and intuitive integration between lighting and other visual control platforms … for ultimate show control.

Moving and LED lighting fixtures and an LED screen will be set up on the stand to demonstrate Avolites’ Synergy protocol in action. This harmonises all consoles powered by the Titan engine with Ai media servers or Prism media platforms. Visitors can get hands-on and see how this works in real time.

Avolites’ various training and educational opportunities and initiatives will be highlighted during the expo, and the brand is also celebrating its 50th anniversary this year!

This landmark anniversary consolidates five decades of empowering creativity that have helped define the style, look, and feel of live entertainment lighting and visuals worldwide.

Founded in 1976, Avolites was built on a simple but powerful idea: that creative people deserve tools that are fast, flexible, and built for the real-world of live performance, which makes the brand one of the most trusted names in professional lighting and media control.

Since 2023, Avolites has been ‘A Robe Business,’ a move that has helped re-energise the brand and take it to the next stages of development with a raft of high-value and user-friendly products perfect for all performance scenarios, from the most intimate experimental theatre productions to the world’s biggest tours, festivals, and broadcast events.

At every stage of its journey, Avolites has focused on one thing: serving the people behind the control desk.

Avolites’ territory manager for Europe, Rogier Trok, will be there on the stand together with Mattia Paccaloni, Avo’s trainer in Italy and an enthusiastic team from Audio Effetti. Expectations are high that MIR Rimini will excel and be even busier than last year and a great opportunity to meet, greet, and network with new and existing creatives, contacts, and customers and discuss upcoming projects and requirements.

Apart from that, everyone is looking forward to being at the Italian seaside and the fantastic Rimini Spring vibes and positive energy.
