WSDG, the international acoustic and AV technology consulting and design firm, is delighted to be taking part in InfoComm América Latina 2025, the very first edition of the AVIXA-produced trade show to be held in Latin America. Taking place from 22-24 October at the World Trade Center in Mexico City, the show will bring together thousands of AV professionals from across the region for three days of technology showcases, conferences, and networking.

WSDG Partner and Director of Business Development Sergio Molho will play an active role in the programme, delivering a lecture and co-hosting, alongside José Francisco Aguilera, owner of Estudio 13, an exclusive tour of one of Mexico’s most acclaimed recording studios.

The lecture, titled “Diseño de Estudios de Grabación – Del Sueño a la Realidad” (‘Recording Studio Design – From Dream to Reality’), will be held on Thursday 23 October from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM. Drawing on decades of international experience, Molho will demonstrate how recording studio design principles can inform and elevate acoustic performance in a broad range of AV spaces. The session will also highlight the convergence between professional audio and commercial AV, showing how ideas developed in high-end studios can influence boardrooms, performance venues, and multipurpose facilities.

That same afternoon, from 12:30 to 2:30 PM, WSDG will co-host the Estudio 13 tour, led by Molho, Aguilera, and the Estudio 13 management team. The programme will begin with a 30-minute case study presentation featuring design drawings and construction images, followed by a guided tour of the entire complex. Attendees will gain insight into the acoustic isolation, technical integration, and creative decisions behind the project, and will have the opportunity to experience the studio’s world-class sonic environment first-hand.

Together, these activities highlight WSDG’s long-standing philosophy of education as a way to give back to the community and inspire others to learn, explore, and push boundaries. By combining thought-leadership with practical, real-world experiences, WSDG continues to demonstrate that education and hands-on insights are essential to advancing AV design.

“InfoComm América Latina is a milestone for our region,” says Molho. “It offers a clear view of where technology and design are heading, not only from the manufacturers’ perspective but also from that of users and integrators. For WSDG, it’s an opportunity to continue educating the market and to give attendees something they don’t often experience, which is a direct exposure to a world-class recording studio. Through the lecture and the Estudio 13 tour, we aim to show how the same design principles that shape high-end studios can also inspire and elevate commercial AV projects.”
