Argentina – From Wednesday, October 7 to Friday, October 9, CAPER SHOW 2026, organized by CAPER, the Argentine Chamber of Professional Audiovisual Equipment Manufacturers and Integrators, will take place. We present the proposals from three of the most important organizations in our country’s Audiovisual Industry: ADF (Argentine Association of Cinematographic Directors of Photography), AAC (Argentine Association of Audiovisual Colorists) and DAC (Argentine Cinematographic Directors).
ADF will present the conference “Moria: Behind the Mirror. Between Fantasy and Reality: The Challenge of Photographing an Icon” at this new edition of CAPER SHOW. The session, led by Luciano Badaracco (ADF), the series’ Director of Photography, will bring audiences closer to the visual universe and the technical and creative journey he undertook to produce an image worthy of an icon of Argentine culture. The conference will be moderated by Fernando Lorenzale (ADF). It will take place on the first day of CAPER SHOW, Wednesday, October 7, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. in Auditorium 3 (Silent Sound).
For its part, the Argentine Association of Audiovisual Colorists (AAC) will bring an unmissable Masterclass to CAPER SHOW 2026 on Friday, October 9, at 10:30 a.m., also in Auditorium 3: “Comparative Analysis of Analog and Digital Processes.” Three industry veterans will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each image capture system, film or digital, as well as the renewed momentum that analog processes are experiencing around the world. The speakers will be Alberto “Beto” Acevedo, Pablo Justino César and Roberto Zambrino.
Immediately afterward, from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m., in the same auditorium, it will be the turn of the Round Table presented by DAC, entitled “Vertical Series in Argentina. Open Round Table.”
This meeting will focus on production, the director’s perspective and even post-production in this innovative format, seeking to answer whether there is a paradigm shift in the way audiovisual content is viewed and produced. The speakers will be four leading figures in vertical series: Loli Miraglia (CEO of The Eleven Hub), Paulo Soria (Director of the series “Este amigo imaginario” for Shorta), Sebastián Suárez (Series Post-Producer for Shorta) and Jorge Bechara, DAC (Director and Showrunner for Shorta, who will also moderate the discussion). Free accreditation is now open to audiovisual and broadcast industry professionals and technicians, as well as students in related fields.
