China – As the largest global entertainment, lighting, and pro AV fair, the 24th edition of Prolight + Sound Guangzhou (PLSG) takes place from 28 – 31 May 2026 at Areas A and B of the China Import and Export Fair Complex. Spanning 220,000 sqm and featuring 2,227 exhibitors, the show is primed to deliver comprehensive full-chain coverage across several industry verticals, including live performance, smart digital entertainment, immersive cultural tourism, commercial displays, and digital visual technology. A strong lineup of renowned domestic and international brands has introduced a cutting-edge range of products and solutions across diverse use cases – including smart meetings, smart digital entertainment, smart education, smart office, commercial displays, cultural tourism performances, and system integration – fully highlighting the industry’s innovation pipeline and technological strength.

Among them, d&b audiotechnik is set to debut its latest loudspeakers at PLSG in China for the first time, setting a new benchmark for large-scale performances and cultural tourism audio with its leading immersive sound technology. DSPPA, a leading Chinese enterprise in public broadcasting and pro AV, will also unveil its Red Dot Award-winning wall-mounted speakers, along with smart meeting and broadcasting solutions, leveraging years of expertise to shape new intelligent acoustic experiences. Meanwhile, Harman International is set to once again make a strong appearance with a robust selection of audio solutions, reinforcing its prominence in pro audio and system integration. Thunderstone, having just gone public, will present its integrated entertainment ecosystem spanning commercial, home, automotive, and mobile applications.

Leading lighting brands such as Fine Art, GOLDENSEA, and Nightsun are shining a spotlight on the integration of stage lighting and cultural tourism systems. Through digital smart entertainment and intelligent lighting control solutions, they showcase the innovative fusion of “lighting + technology” while also demonstrating their independent R&D capabilities and technological breakthroughs. Companies like Global Truss, HOF, Mode, and more are poised to reveal the latest offerings in special effects, truss systems, and hoist systems onsite.

In the fields of LED displays and audiovisual integration, innovative pioneers including Hikvision, ITC, Qiangli Jucai, and Skyworth bring multipurpose screen technologies and display solutions to the fore. Centred on superior image quality, smart interactivity, and system integration, their offerings add new depth to the complete pro AV and lighting industry chain.

Buyers from over 100 countries and regions gather to explore new global sourcing opportunities

Professional buyers from more than 100 countries and regions, including Argentina, Brazil, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Mexico, the Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Thailand, the UAE, and more, have already registered for the show. A buyer delegation from South Korea has been organised by the Stage Sound Designer and Engineer Association of Korea, while Overdrive, a well-known Thai industry media outlet, also arranged a buyer delegation to visit the show.

PLSG also continues to work closely with the China – Arab States Stage Technician Training Course, which will make its second visit to the show to explore the latest global technologies and products. Industry-related organisations such as the Industry Alliance of Pro-Sound, Light & Video, and China Association of Recording Engineers will hold major meetings for their members at the fair while scouting for suppliers and products that can keep up with shifting market demands.

Fringe events: pioneering vision, enhancing industry collaboration

This year’s show will feature a rich lineup of concurrent events, with multiple keynote forums, technical exchange sessions, and industry networking events. These events not only reinforce the show’s position as a true industry bellwether but also help bring together decision-makers, academics, and visionaries, injecting fresh energy and momentum into the innovation pipeline and development across the global pro AV and lighting sector.

As part of the show’s focus on new technologies, the China Association of Recording Engineers will hold the IFTT 2026 ‘The Sound’ – Future Science and Technology Innovation Conference, advancing cutting-edge technologies and development trends in the field of sound technology. In addition, the association has teamed up with the UHD World Association to create the Vivid Immersive Park, which aims to promote the full-industry-chain deployment of China’s homegrown Audio Vivid standard and help bring domestic innovation to the global stage.

Additionally, the China Institute of Stage Design and the China Stage Art Educational Alliance jointly presented the The First Exhibition of Stage Art Works from Chinese Higher Education Institutions. This new collaboration presented over 1,000 stage artworks from college students and teachers across China, showcasing the creativity and academic achievements of the next generation. This year, leveraging its strong industry networking advantages, PLSG also launched its first-ever 2026 Guangzhou Audio, Lighting & Film / TV Industry Job Fair, tackling the talent gap head on by connecting companies with professionals and top graduates through a dedicated, high quality hiring platform.

On the AI front, the fair also partnered with the Shanghai Municipal Association of Culture & Entertainment Industry for the first time to host the AI Driven Full – Stack Intelligence – Immersive Digital Light & Shadow Audio – Visual Tech and Industry Matchmaking Conference utilising scenario-based technical exchanges to enhance entertainment experiences, with a focus on AI applications in KTV and digital entertainment. As the only trade platform with a dedicated KTV hall, PLSG brought together top industry players for discussions, further highlighting its leadership in the KTV and digital entertainment sector.
