STM Network expands in Sweden.

The STM Series has been winning new fans in Sweden,
where three rental companies have added modular line array to their
inventories. Ljud & Ljus Control I Sundsvall, based on the east coast of
the country, has added STM M28 main cabinets to its stock of NEXO, and
Musiklagret in Borås near Gothenburg has purchased M28s with STM S118 subs.

A
complete modular line array system has been delivered to Nöjesbyrån AB in
Karlskoga, to the west of Stockholm.  NEXO distributor Intersonic has
supplied STM M46 main modules, B112 bass modules, M28 ‘omnipurpose’ modules
which can be deployed as downfill or used in their own right as main cabinets,
together with a quantity of STM S118 subs.

One of
the first outings for Nöjesbyrån’s new system was the Putte I Parken
Festivalen, a free festival in Öresbro which attracted nearly 60,000
visitors.  Originally started in Nöjesbyrån’s home town of Karlskoga, the
3-day Putte I Parken festival has now moved to one of the larger cities in
Sweden, and this year’s event saw performances from Dolores Haze, Bob Hund, The
Quireboys and Petter.

Putte I
Parken’s main stage was equipped with 9x M46 mains plus 9x B112 bass cabinets
on each side of the stage.  Below each array were 2x M28 for downfill,
with an additional 2x M28 for frontfill.  18x STM S118 subs were
groundstacked in front of the stage.

The Putte I
Parken is a travelling festival and will move on to venues in Karlstad, Ieksand
and Stockholm later in the summer.
