USA – Stewart Filmscreen, a leading manufacturer of professional-grade projection screens and the only screen manufacturer to receive two Academy Awards® for technical merit, today announced its CEDIA Expo 2026 activities, bringing eight projection screens to six partner locations across the Colorado Convention Center in Denver.

From September 2-4, attendees can experience Stewart screen systems in Epson Booth 1319, JVC Booth 3511 L-Acoustics Sound Room 2, Lumagen Sound Room 7, SIM 2 Sound Room 8, and Sony Booth 2120. Ranging from 160 to 215 inches, the installations demonstrate masking, large-format, ambient-light-rejecting, and acoustically transparent screen solutions. Stewart’s show activities also include two major announcements focused on four-way masking and faster product availability.

“CEDIA allows our industry to experience what happens when the screen, projector, source, audio system and room are designed to work together,” said Adrian Silva, Vice President of Sales at Stewart Filmscreen. “This year, Stewart is contributing eight screen configurations across six distinct partner environments while also introducing important advances for our dealers and consultants. Together, they demonstrate how we support integrators from product selection and installation through the final cinematic presentation.”

Three Stewart screens in Epson bBooth 1319

Epson Booth 1319 features the largest concentration of Stewart products at the show, with three screen systems demonstrating distinct design and performance capabilities. A 215-inch Director’s Choice Generation 2 “DCG2” anchors the booth, allowing attendees to experience Stewart’s newly redesigned four-way, continuously variable masking platform at an expansive scale.

The booth also includes a 160-inch Luxus G2 with StudioTek 100 reference screen material and a 160-inch Balón Edge with Phantom HALR Plus ambient light-rejecting perforated screen material. Together, the three installations illustrate how screen architecture and surface selection can be tailored to room conditions, content and system objectives.

JVC and Sony booth demonstrations

In JVC Booth 3511, attendees can experience a 165-inch StreamPro with StudioTek 130 G4. The two-way horizontal masking screen pairs a streamlined installation for multiple formats with a reference-grade screen surface for JVC’s projection demonstration.

Sony Booth 2120 also features a 165-inch screen with StudioTek 130 G4, completing the visual chain for Sony’s home cinema presentation. The JVC and Sony installations give attendees two opportunities to evaluate the same reference-grade screen material with different projection systems and demonstration environments.

L-Acoustics Sound Room 2

In L-Acoustics Sound Room 2, an 184-inch WallScreen Deluxe with Harmony G3 acoustic weave provides the audio and visual foundation for an immersive demonstration. The fixed-frame screen combines a substantial image area for the Barco Heimdall with Stewart’s reference-grade Harmony G3 surface.

Lumagen Sound Room 7

Lumagen Sound Room 7 features a 188-inch VistaScope EVO with Harmony G3. The two-way vertical masking system precisely reframes content for different aspect ratios, while the acoustically transparent woven surface supports loudspeaker placement behind the image.

SIM2 Sound Room 8

The SIM2 demonstration features a 171-inch Stewart Filmscreen WallScreen Deluxe with Tiburon G5 screen material. Paired with SIM2’s high-performance projection technology, the large-format fixed-frame screen delivers excellent color fidelity, image uniformity and viewing consistency—creating an immersive cinematic presentation suited for premium residential environments.

Two major Stewart announcements at CEDIA 2026

Stewart’s show activities coincide with the introduction of Director’s Choice Generation 2, the next evolution of its four-way, continuously variable masking screen system. The redesigned platform reduces enclosure depth from 16.5 inches to 7.25 inches, a reduction of more than 56%, and supports image widths up to 20 feet with compact 7-inch borders. It also adds the QuickSnap front-loading screen attachment, wall-mount capability, and the Somfy Digital Network control.

The company is also more than doubling its QuickShip Program from 21 to 56 available configurations. The 35 additions include RS1 and WallScreen 2.5, new 150-inch screen sizes, Harmony G3 and UltraPerf perforated options, and additional screen-material and size combinations. Eligible QuickShip orders placed before 12 p.m. Pacific Time ship the next business day, helping dealers and integrators respond to compressed project schedules without sacrificing Stewart screen quality for availability.
