Italy – Proel has appointed Alessio Foti as co-CEO and a member of its board of directors, strengthening the Italian manufacturer’s leadership team as it embarks on its next phase of growth.
Foti joins the company from the Adam Hall Group, where he spent nine years as global business development manager before most recently serving as vice president of international sales.
At Proel, he will serve alongside existing CEO Giacomo Sorbi, with the appointment forming part of the company’s long-term strategy focused on innovation, international expansion and product development.
Announcing the appointment, Sorbi described the move as a significant milestone for the company. “I am thrilled to announce that Alessio Foti is joining the board of directors of the Proel Group and taking on the role of co-chief executive officer,” he said. “As CEO, I firmly believe that leadership has real value when it is capable of sharing responsibility, expertise and vision. Sorbi added that the appointment marks the beginning of a new era for the company, with renewed leadership and a broader strategic vision. In his announcement, Sorbi also outlined plans for further investment in research and development, revealing that Proel will introduce products and technologies developed entirely in-house over the coming months.
