USA – Pleneo has been named to Fast Company’s World’s Most Innovative Companies of 2026, taking a top position in the Workplace category, recognizing its role in shaping how people interact with technology at work.

The annual list, which has previously featured companies such as Apple, Meta and Google, highlights organizations redefining industries through design, technology, and real-world impact.

Pleneo’s inclusion reflects a broader shift toward experience-led workplace technology—where usability, simplicity, and adaptability are fundamental to how systems are designed. Over the past 18 months, this approach has been applied across a range of collaboration environments, from meeting rooms to large-scale shared spaces.

“The challenge has never been adding more technology—it’s making it disappear,” said James Knight, CEO, Pleneo. “This recognition reflects our focus on deeply understanding how people use shared spaces, and building solutions that adapt to them—rather than forcing them to adapt to the system. Everything we design starts with usability and experience.”

Pleneo approaches workplace technology as a complete system—designed from the ground up to be intuitive, consistent, and effortless to deploy. The result is a fundamentally different experience: spaces that work immediately, scale easily, and require little to no training.

“The companies we recognize are those turning bold ideas into real-world impact,” said Brendan Vaughan, editor-in-chief of Fast Company.

This recognition reflects a broader shift in workplace technology—from systems people have to learn, to experiences that simply work.
