France – Located on the iconic Avenue Montaigne in the chic and prestigious 8th arrondissement, Manko Paris combines the precision and generosity of Japanese/Peruvian Nikkei cuisine with elegant and sophisticated cocktails, all served in a luxurious and vibrant atmosphere, with live music and DJ performances.

Envisioning a setting where Parisian elegance meets Andean warmth, the internationally renowned firm Bureau Lacroix was recently commissioned to redesign the interiors, resulting in a spectacular metamorphosis rich in nuances and shimmering textures. Deep blue and precious gold seating, brass reflections, textured walls, and expertly orchestrated plays of light all contribute to telling the story of a mystical, modern, and vibrant Peru, with Japanese influences are revealed through openwork screens and soft lighting.

The brief given to FOX AGENCY, a Parisian specialist in technical solutions for events and integration, focused on designing a sound system seamlessly integrated with the venue’s new décor. The installation had to guarantee comfortable, wideband sound quality for the restaurant area, while also delivering sufficient volume to enjoy the live entertainment and programming of the ‘Manko Loko’ evenings.

For the restaurant area, 12 compact NEXO ID24 speakers were selected, offering discreet and high-performance integration. These are complemented by four IDS110 subwoofers, all suspended from the ceiling.

“This configuration allowed us to ensure consistent and comfortable sound coverage throughout the entire restaurant area,” reports Timothée Renard of FOX AGENCY.

For the bar, NEXO P10 and P12 point source speakers and L18 subwoofers are suspended, creating a very high-performance system with a considerable reserve of power.

For the ID Series system, NEXO’s compact nanoNXAMPs power the restaurant system, while a trio of NXAMPMk2s (2 x 4×2 and 1 x 4×1) provides the power and processing for the more powerful P Series  system.

The entire system can be controlled by zone by the staff via a wireless tablet controlling a Yamaha MTX5-D matrix, selected to distribute signals to all amplifiers in the Dante network.

All speakers and mounting brackets are finished in custom RAL colours to blend into their surroundings. The NEXO engineering support team visited the site to make the final adjustments.

“NEXO provided us with all the elements of a versatile system, which integrates perfectly into the space thanks to its meticulous finishes, while maintaining enhanced performance for broadcasting live performances. This system allowed us to create two spaces with distinct atmospheres, while maintaining a homogeneous and high-quality sound signature,” says Timothée in conclusion.
