ONSITE | Buenos Aires

In the heart of Buenos Aires, NEXO officially presented two of its newest solutions for the professional market: the new Alpha+ series and the P+ line, during an event organized together with Los Ángeles Música that brought together rental companies, technicians, integrators, and audio professionals at the Centro Cultural Abra.

More than just a product demonstration, the event served as a statement of intent: reinforcing the brand’s presence in Argentina and consolidating a new stage of regional growth based on support, proximity, and solutions designed for the real needs of the Latin American market.

Hely Chirinos, NEXO’s sales manager for Latin America, was responsible for officially presenting the new solutions. “It is very important to be in Buenos Aires for the official launch of our Alpha Plus system together with our colleagues from Los Ángeles Música, while also presenting the P18, which are the point-source systems of the moment,” he explained at the beginning of the event.

The Alpha+ series became one of the main highlights of the day. Conceptually inheriting the legacy of a historic line within the NEXO universe, this new generation aims to respond to an increasingly strong demand within touring and rental companies: systems that are faster to deploy, with less operational complexity and high sound pressure levels.

Chirinos summarized that philosophy directly: “It is a stacking system that allows us to deploy it quickly and effectively, without the need for rigging or flying accessories. You simply unload it from the truck, stack it, connect it, load the amplifier preset, and you are ready to go.”

That practicality does not mean compromising performance. On the contrary, one of the aspects that most surprised attendees during the demonstration was precisely the relationship between size, efficiency, and sound pressure. “Alpha and the Plus series have entered the entire region very strongly due to their size and high level of performance. In Argentina, we feel exactly the same thing is happening,” Chirinos noted.

During the demos, attendees were able to listen to the system in operation and ask technical questions directly to the NEXO and Los Ángeles Música teams. For Chirinos, that interaction was one of the event’s greatest values. “We felt very good because the questions were challenging, very specific, and very accurate. People talked about technical matters, day-to-day operation, and above all, concerns regarding the system’s reach,” he commented.

Beyond the product itself, the event also reflected the work the brand has been doing to strengthen its regional structure. Chirinos acknowledged that NEXO is going through a moment of recovery and expansion throughout Latin America. “We are regaining ground with our point-source systems and growing more and more throughout the region,” he stated, especially highlighting the reception this new generation of systems is receiving in markets such as Argentina.

In that process, the role of Los Ángeles Música appears as a central piece. The relationship between both companies spans more than two decades and is now entering a new stage marked by stronger technical support, product availability, and specialized training.

Miguel Ángel Onorato explained it from a deeply human perspective. “We have represented the NEXO line since 2001, we have been with the brand for more than 20 years, and today we are experiencing a very important evolution,” he stated.

That evolution is not limited to equipment sales. Onorato revealed that the company is developing new spaces focused on training and immersive experiences. “We are creating laboratories to provide consulting services and also an immersive sound lab so customers can understand new technologies,” he explained.

The idea behind these spaces is clear: allowing users to experience the solutions in a practical way and understand how professional audio is evolving. “The NEXO line expanded tremendously after its association with Yamaha and now has products for corporate, social, and professional touring applications. The idea is to have a place where customers can fully understand the possibilities and capabilities,” Onorato added.

For NEXO, this regional approach also translates into concrete support and training initiatives. Chirinos confirmed that new training and educational sessions under the Audioversity program will soon begin, along with immersive sound experiences linked to SoundXR, the platform developed together with Yamaha. “Good news is coming, and we are going to start interacting much more with immersive sound,” he revealed.

Another key aspect highlighted during the event was the local support structure. Chirinos emphasized that Los Ángeles Música has available stock, spare parts for both new and legacy product lines, and support capabilities in both Argentina and Uruguay. “The positive aspect of Los Ángeles Música is that they have products available for immediate delivery, spare parts for all series, and they also have a branch in Uruguay,” he stated.

But perhaps one of the most revealing statements came from Onorato’s own experience when speaking about the relationship built with the brand over the years. “The secret lies in communication: the communication I receive from my clients and the communication I have with the manufacturer. And that communication ultimately generates trust. The years provide that experience,” he concluded.

From Buenos Aires, the Alpha+ presentation made it clear that NEXO is not only looking to showcase new products. The brand aims to consolidate a regional structure where technology, support, training, and proximity work together.

And in that scenario, Alpha+ appears not only as a new sound system, but as the symbol of a stage where efficiency, practicality, and direct connection with the user once again take center stage in the professional experience.
