Spain – Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) has announced that Mo Gawdat, business executive and author of four international bestsellers, will deliver the Business Keynote, the main business conference at ISE 2027. The show will return to Fira de Barcelona Gran Via from February 2 to 5, 2027. This session will invite attendees to broaden the perspective of their visit and look beyond the specific solutions they will find at ISE to reflect on a wider question: where AI is taking us and what role we, as humans, must play in shaping that future.
Gawdat will take the stage at CC4 on Tuesday, February 2, with his keynote, “When Human and Artificial Intelligence Come Together: Building a Future Worth Living In.” The session will examine the current impact of AI and raise fundamental questions about the pace of change, responsibility and human behavior, as well as how organizations should respond.
With more than three decades of professional experience, Gawdat has worked at companies such as IBM, Microsoft and Google and has co-founded more than 30 companies. His work as an author focuses on happiness, artificial intelligence and the future of humanity. In his first book, the bestseller Solve for Happy: Engineer Your Path to Joy, he presented an algorithm describing how our minds interpret the world and process joy and sadness. The book also inspired his mission to help one billion people become happy.
Following the publication of his second book, Scary Smart: The Future of AI and How You Can Save Our World, Gawdat established himself as one of the leading voices in the international debate on AI. His work explores how this technology will continue to evolve and what changes businesses can make to incorporate it effectively into their operations. This vision is reflected in his new initiative, Emma.love, an ethical AI-powered advisory platform that helps cultivate more fulfilling friendships, romantic relationships and professional relationships, as well as in his upcoming book, Alive: A Human’s Guide to Living in the World of AI.
