Hungary – Lightware has strengthened its scalable AV-over-IP TPN platform with a unit that provides centralised control of devices across the network.
The TPN Matrix Management Unit (MMU) acts as the central management layer for discovery, configuration and system-wide switching control for Lightware’s TPN ecosystem, which combines Taurus TPN, HDMI-TPN and HDMI-OPTN endpoints into a 10GbE SDVoE-based AV-over-IP architecture.
The MMU automatically discovers TPN and OPTN devices, building a topology map that provides full system visibility from a single interface.
It operates as a centralised orchestration layer, abstracting endpoint-level switching into a virtual matrix environment while leveraging SDVoE’s distributed switching architecture.
Gergely Vida, Lightware’s chief executive, said: “By streamlining system oversight and reducing operational complexity, the TPN MMU simplifies day-to-day management while supporting reliable long-term performance.”
“We are giving AV professionals a powerful new way to optimise networked AV systems at scale.”
