USA – The NAMM Show 2027 will host the first ever TEC Tracks Live Sound Summit. Taking place on Wednesday January 27, the half-day summit will see highly respected FOH engineers and crew discuss the opportunities and issues facing live sound engineers. This new educational opportunity adds to the long list of why The NAMM Show provides the best start to the year for live sound professionals.

“Rapidly evolving stage technologies are changing the creative possibilities of high-level touring, and the TEC Tracks Live Sound Summit will be the best place to learn from the experience of the road warriors and staging geniuses who are on the front line of this change,” said John Mlynczak, NAMM president and CEO. “This is the kind of practical session that makes The NAMM Show vital for live professionals. With a focus on the production and operational side of globally touring projects, it will cover the technologies people are deploying now, what’s coming next and how sound, lighting, visuals, automation and production infrastructure increasingly need to work as one system.”
The TEC Tracks Live Sound Summit is just one of the educational opportunities for pro audio professionals at The NAMM Show 2027. Amongst the usual raft of high-end educational sessions, the show will also offer three days of Dante training from Audinate, hands-on console training from a variety of major brands as well as further live sound and production training sessions from thought leaders in touring and entertainment technology.

Beyond the educational offering, there will be plenty of reasons for live sound professionals to head to the Anaheim Convention Center from January 26-30. As always, ACC North level 2 will be the home of pro audio with more brands on display than ever before, including DiGiCo, L-Acoustics, Adamson, RCF, QSC, Solid State Logic, Coda Audio, Meyer Sound, EAW, Lawo, HK Audio, FBT, Allen & Heath, Ashly, Outline and Electro-Voice all taking space on the busy show floor.

In the more production focused ACC North Level 1, visitors will find booths and listening spaces from the likes of Shure, Genelec, Avid, DPA Microphones, Blackmagic Design, Audix, Sony, AMS Neve, Fender Studio, Avalon and Sennheiser.

In addition to getting hands on with new equipment, one of the biggest reasons to visit a trade show is to hear the sound systems in action to get an understanding of how they could benefit your next gig. Visitors to The NAMM Show 2027 will not be disappointed in this regard with the event setting a new record for the number of demo rooms, alongside the plethora of stages and performance areas across the entire NAMM Show campus.

Of course, no NAMM Show would be complete without an unforgettable fringe festival of awards ceremonies, star-studded performances and pool parties. Hosted by Henry Rollins, the 2027 Parnelli Awards will honor excellence, achievement and commitment to the live event production industry on Friday, January 29, while the TEC Awards will recognize the best in new technology on Thursday, January 28, and the She Rocks Awards will put the spotlight on trailblazing women from all areas of the industry on Saturday, January 30.

Last but never least, all pro audio professionals are invited to grab a wristband and join the rest of the industry poolside at the Anaheim Marriot for the 2027 Pro Audio Pool Party on Thursday, January 28, starting at 7 p.m.

“The NAMM Show 2027 is set to be the one of the busiest and most complete events of the year for live sound professionals,” concluded Mlynczak. “We can’t wait to welcome everyone to Anaheim so we can start the year in style.”
