UK – L-Acoustics technology has been installed in the new Cinema Luxe Lounge at Harrods in London, bringing concert-grade audio to a fully realised residential demonstration environment on the store’s fifth floor.
The space has been designed by luxury home cinema specialist Cinema Luxe to replicate the material quality and finish of a high-end private residence, allowing visitors to experience reference-level technology in a domestic context. The L-Acoustics system is Dolby Atmos compliant and sits alongside Control4 smart home automation, motorised QMotion blinds and Studio Vellari cinema seating. System integration was handled by IndigoZest, a CEDIA-certified smart home integrator with showrooms in Chelsea, Amersham and Harrods.
The lounge forms part of The Faraday Club, a collective of luxury audio, visual and custom installation brands with a shared focus on high-end residential entertainment.
Nick Fichte, global business development lead, hospitality, home and yacht at L-Acoustics, said: “The Cinema Luxe Lounge at Harrods is an opportunity to demonstrate how immersive audio can become an integral part of luxury living, delivering not just performance, but atmosphere, comfort, and a deeper connection to content.”
Tim Garman, co-founder of Faraday Club, added: “The Cinema Luxe Lounge reflects that philosophy by allowing visitors to encounter luxury technology not as a collection of products, but as a carefully composed environment where every detail contributes to how the space is felt and enjoyed.”
