The company, specialized in providing audiovisual services for demanding productions, has expanded its inventory of DAS Audio products with a significant investment in the SARA and Altea-DUO-20A systems.

Fluge Audiovisuales Centroamérica is one of the leading providers of top-level audiovisual services in the region. With this subsidiary, the parent company Fluge in Spain brings over two decades of experience in the audiovisual sector and expands its reach to one of the fastest-growing areas in the Americas.
Its facilities, located in Panama City, close to the financial center and the venues where most events are held, cover 700 m², with a distribution center featuring 4 loading docks and offices spanning 200 m². The company employs 30 permanent staff, including technical and administrative personnel, along with 20 temporary employees.
Fluge Centroamérica is one of the major international branches of the Fluge corporation. The company originated in Madrid, Spain, and established itself in Panama in December 2013. Since 2016, the Central American subsidiary has been led by David Hurtado, its general manager.
Currently, Fluge is servicing the most significant events in Panama and providing services to international clients coming to that region of the continent. “We are in the top 3 of audiovisual companies in the country,” confirmed Hurtado.
The relationship between Fluge and DAS Audio began decades ago. The Spanish sound system manufacturer became one of the most important and well-positioned audio brands internationally. Its Spanish origin, proximity, and working philosophy made it an indispensable ally in Fluge’s corporate life.
In early October, Fluge Centroamérica decided to invest in DAS Audio’s SARA and Altea-DUO-20A systems, two systems that incorporate DAS’s 50 years of technological innovation. The company added 40 SARA-100 units, 18 SARA-SUB subs, and 6 Altea-DUO-20A units to its rental product portfolio, ideal for concerts and events requiring coverage of large spaces with high-quality sound and modern visuals.
“We were deeply involved in selecting the ideal equipment for the type of work we do, and during our visit to the DAS factory in Valencia, they presented all the new products they had. DAS’s engineering department began studying the venues we work with most to find the right equipment we needed. It was a very agile and professional process,” acknowledged David Hurtado.
Brazilian engineer Fernando Nanao, responsible for DAS Audio’s technical support in Latin America, trained Fluge’s installation technicians on the correct use and configuration of the systems. Regarding this, Hurtado commented, “The truth is that both the equipment, which has very simple connections, and its ALMA software, which, although state-of-the-art, has a very user-friendly interface, make configuring the equipment easier. We achieved a straightforward, effective, and very quick process.”
Before this investment, Fluge already had DAS Audio equipment in its Panama offices. For several years, the company has had a complete system with 24 Aero-40A units and 12 LX18 Subs for concerts of up to 10,000 attendees. They also have a monitoring system consisting of ROAD-12A units.
For corporate events, Fluge uses ARTEC-508A, ARTEC-510A, and S15A subs.
The new SARA-100 system acquired by Fluge made its debut at the Coca Cola Congress, held at the Panama Convention Center (PCC) in October. This project was done in collaboration with RLA, a local partner, to service an international congress for the world’s leading soft drink brand with 1,500 participants.
As it was Fluge’s first event with the SARA-100 in Panama, specialist Nanao supported in designing the optimal system to ensure the audience enjoyed adequate sound pressure levels and coverage suited to the type of event.
For the Coca Cola Congress, a system was designed with 5 “clusters” since the room was very wide and had little height relative to the size of the LED screens. The subs system was centered and hidden under the stage.
The sound system installation faced no obstacles. “The entire setup and alignment went perfectly. Thanks to the flexibility and easy installation, we were able to deliver the operational system hours before the scheduled setup,” said David.
Coca Cola delivered a highly successful event. The engineer traveling with the brand’s international production was very satisfied with DAS’s sound quality. Additionally, Fluge received positive feedback from both competitors who visited the event and from the PCC officials.
David Hurtado confirmed that “both the SARA system and the Altea-DUO-20A are very compact and versatile systems, with excellent sound quality and high technology that allow us to offer a high-quality service to our clients.”
He continued, “We had high expectations for these new series, but once you start using the equipment, you realize they exceed far beyond what you had in mind.”
“We are very pleased with the result of this event as everything went very well, and the client was very grateful for the service,” said Hurtado.
