Argentina – On March 31, EXOSOUND officially presented the L-Acoustics L2 system at the Pablo Neruda hall of the Paseo La Plaza Complex, bringing together professionals for an exclusive event focused on the system’s main application markets: theaters, performing arts, live music, and audiovisual integration.
The event was led by Damasia Sananes, Chief Executive Officer of EXOSOUND, who welcomed attendees by highlighting the main objective of the presentation: “we are offering multiple listening sessions for professionals: each market group will have its dedicated moment to listen to the L2 and experience the system’s capabilities firsthand.”
The day included an institutional presentation by L-Acoustics led by Ángel González España, Commercial Manager for LATAM, followed by a technical presentation of the L2 system by Axel Soto, Applications Engineer for the brand.
Meanwhile, Miguel Hadelich, Global Business Development Manager specialized in theaters and performing arts at L-Acoustics, presented concrete use cases for the system, highlighting its versatility and application in different environments and venues.
“Installations currently represent around 37% of our market and continue to show sustained growth. More and more arenas and theaters are choosing to have their own system — a house system — instead of bringing in a different one for each event. This trend also responds to a more sustainable approach, aiming to reduce the need to constantly move systems and instead make use of those already installed in venues,” said Hadelich.
Julio Levinsonas, Commercial Director of EXOSOUND, highlighted that “30 years ago L-Acoustics reinvented what we know as live sound, and today they continue doing so through technology and their sonic signature. I still get excited about the characteristics and sound quality they deliver.”
Attendees were then invited to organize themselves into market-based groups to participate in an onstage activation, where they were able to experience a dedicated listening session of the L-Acoustics L2 system in a more focused format and in smaller groups.
The L2 system is part of the L-Acoustics L Series, a new generation of full-range line source designed for both mobile applications and fixed installations. Based on PULS (Progressive Ultra-dense Line Source) technology, it combines high sonic performance with an outstanding power-to-size ratio and ease of deployment. In stereo configurations, it can cover audiences ranging from 1,200 to 12,000 people, significantly expanding its reach when combined with advanced sound spatialization technologies.
The equipment was provided by Tabia’s Sound, the only L2 rental agent in Argentina, while the technical operation of the event was handled by Marina Bello, Technical Coordinator at MESS 360, a company within the EXOSOUND Group, who is a certified L-Acoustics trainer and specialist in L-ISA technology. MESS 360 (Media Entertainment Services & Solutions) features an immersive audio laboratory at its Olivos headquarters that includes an L-Acoustics L-ISA Auditorio, SSL consoles for live and broadcast applications, as well as a Dolby Atmos studio.
“All of this ecosystem is part of our MESS 360 laboratories, which are open to anyone who wants to come and listen. We will continue holding demos with the goal of increasingly expanding access to sound experiences that go beyond traditional stereo,” concluded Damasia Sananes, Chief Executive Officer of Grupo EXOSOUND.
With this presentation, EXOSOUND introduces one of the latest L-Acoustics innovations in the country, reaffirming the company’s commitment to the development of the professional audio ecosystem in Argentina.
