USA – At NAMM Show 2026 and ISE, DAS Audio unveiled the latest expansion of the EVENT series with the introduction of three new systems: the EVENT-30A line array, the EVENT-S218A subwoofer and the EVENT-M12A stage monitor. Both the EVENT-30A and the EVENT-M12A were recognised at NAMM with the Best of Show award, reinforcing the EVENT series as a versatile and scalable technological platform designed to simplify system operation and deliver consistent sonic results in both live events and fixed installations.
This evolution of the EVENT series is based on a common DSP platform shared by all systems in the range, where control, automation and operational reliability play a central role. The objective is to simplify installation processes, reduce setup time and ensure predictable performance in applications such as tours, festivals and permanent installations.
The EVENT platform DSP processing incorporates FIR filters to optimise system response and ensure precise tonal coherence, together with integration with DAScontrol and an architecture prepared for future firmware updates, conceived to evolve over the long term.
The EVENT-30A marks a new stage in the evolution of the EVENT line array. It incorporates this new DSP platform with integrated Wi-Fi connectivity, enabling wireless firmware updates and facilitating system evolution over time. In addition, the EVENT-30A introduces the Smart Self-Tuning function, whereby each unit automatically identifies its position within the array via infrared sensors and loads the corresponding preset, including long throw and short throw modes, without manual intervention. This system reduces configuration errors and significantly speeds up deployment.
The EVENT-30A integrates neodymium transducers specifically designed for this system, with two 10-inch loudspeakers and two compression drivers —the same ones used across the rest of the EVENT series—, delivering a wider dynamic range, higher SPL and controlled behaviour, particularly in large-format configurations. All of this is housed in a compact and lightweight enclosure.
Low frequencies are handled by the new EVENT-S218A, a self-powered subwoofer equipped with two 18-inch neodymium transducers, developed specifically to integrate naturally within the EVENT platform and share the same control and processing architecture. It delivers deep low-frequency extension, high efficiency and reduced distortion. Its cardioid presets for two- and three-unit configurations allow effective rear attenuation, especially in live applications and outdoor environments. The enclosure design incorporates two pole mount positions, one horizontal and one vertical, providing greater versatility in deployment depending on application requirements.
The series is completed by the EVENT-M12A, a 12-inch coaxial stage monitor that also shares the EVENT DSP platform, designed for stage monitoring applications and featuring an opening in the handle that allows it to be used as a point source system as well. Its design ensures precise coverage and high clarity, while its compact format and front connectors facilitate cleaner cabling and discreet stage integration. Tonally tuned to integrate coherently with the rest of the EVENT systems, it combines flexibility, precision and high performance within the ecosystem.
With this expansion, the EVENT series is consolidated as one of the strategic pillars of DAS Audio, offering a future-ready solution that combines operational efficiency, reliability and advanced control within a shared technological platform.
