UK – DAS AUDIO takes a new step in its international growth strategy by strengthening its direct presence in the United Kingdom, one of the most relevant and competitive markets in the world for the professional audio industry.
The company begins this new phase with James Bottrill leading business development in the UK. With an extensive background in the audio and AV sector, Bottrill brings solid experience in business development, account management, sales team leadership and direct work with integrators, consultants, distributors and end users.
This move comes at a particularly important moment for the company. Recent product launches, the evolution of the DAS AUDIO catalogue and the response received from international markets have created a new opportunity to reinforce the company’s presence in Europe and move forward with greater ambition in strategic territories such as the UK.
“The United Kingdom is a benchmark market, not only because of its size, but also because of the technical level of its professionals, the demands of its projects and its influence within the international industry,” says Manuel Peris, CEO of DAS AUDIO. “For us, this is a very important step. We arrive with a stronger, more complete and better prepared product range than ever, and with a strong desire to show what DAS AUDIO can bring to the market. We are hungry, we have the product, and we are convinced that this is the right time to grow in the UK.”
“James gives us great confidence because of his knowledge of the British market, his technical-commercial profile and the quality of the relationships he has built over many years in the industry,” says Arne Deters, Business Development Manager for Europe and the UK at DAS AUDIO. “We are convinced that he is the right person to help us build a solid, close and sustainable presence.”
“The UK is a highly competitive market, but I have great confidence in the strength and potential of the DAS AUDIO product portfolio,” says James Bottrill. “I am looking forward to developing the brand’s presence here and to working closely with both the live sound and installation sectors.”
DAS AUDIO’s presence at PLASA in September will mark one of the first milestones of this new phase in the UK. The show will provide an opportunity to present the evolution of the company’s catalogue, strengthen contact with customers and partners, and demonstrate its commitment to the British market.
In addition, DAS AUDIO will organise several roadshows in the UK throughout the year, creating opportunities for listening sessions, technical demonstrations and direct contact with customers, integrators, consultants and rental companies.
With this step, DAS AUDIO reinforces its commitment to the European market and consolidates a strategy based on greater customer proximity, a renewed product offering and a more ambitious international vision.
