Kosovo – Hardh Fest once again brought together music, wine, gastronomy and tradition in Rahovec, western Kosovo, from September 4 to 6. Held since 2001 to coincide with the start of the grape harvest, the festival has become one of the region’s leading cultural and tourism events.
AMC Corporation, the rental company responsible for the sound system, deployed a main PA consisting of 24 SARA systems and 16 SARA-SUB subwoofers. Four ARA-P12 systems were used as front fill for the first rows, while 12 EVENT-28A and 12 EVENT-218A systems provided outfill coverage for the side areas.
Coverage for the areas furthest from the stage was completed with eight EVENT-28A systems used as delays.
Over three days, Hardh Fest combines activities related to grapes, wine and local gastronomy with outdoor concerts and DJ sets. Its programme brings together international artists and leading names from the music scenes of Kosovo and Albania, with a line-up focused mainly on pop and rock alongside electronic music.
This year’s edition featured Thomas Anders & Band as its main international act, alongside artists including Era Istrefi, Xhensila Myrtezaj, Tuna, Anxhela Peristeri and Vedat Ademi.
With more than two decades of history, Hardh Fest remains closely linked to Rahovec’s winemaking identity. Wineries, local producers, gastronomy, cultural heritage and music come together during the festival, which in its largest editions has recorded more than 100,000 visits over its three days. Every September, the event turns the vineyards of Rahovec into a meeting point for music and the traditions of the region.
