Italy – As international restaurant brand Crazy Pizza continues its expansion across Europe and beyond, Italian systems integrator Vibra Service has selected the Allen & Heath AHM Audio Matrix Processors to deliver consistent, flexible and easy-to-manage audio experiences across multiple restaurant locations.
Working with the group behind Crazy Pizza for the past three years, Vibra Service has deployed Allen & Heath’s AHM platform in a growing number of venues, helping to create tailored sound environments that enhance the customer experience while simplifying day-to-day operation for restaurant staff.
Recent openings equipped as part of the ongoing rollout include locations in London, Saint-Tropez, Monte Carlo, Porto Cervo, Milan and Rome, adding to an international portfolio that is expected to continue growing over the coming years.
Multiple locations including the London venue feature an AHM-32 at the heart of the audio system, an audio processing engine with networking and third-party control options.
A trusted and intuitive solution
Vibra Service’s technicians had extensive experience with Allen & Heath systems, making AHM the obvious platform-of-choice for a multi-site hospitality restaurant project where ease of deployment and operation were key considerations.
“To sum it up in three words: simple, intuitive and practical,” says Stefano Lo Sardo, Owner and Founder of Vibra Service. “Our company started using Allen & Heath more than ten years ago, and it has become a trusted choice.”
The ability to control the AHM-32 remotely via Allen & Heath’s Custom Control app in a bring-your-own-device scenario also played a significant role in the decision-making process. Across Crazy Pizza locations, staff already use tablets to manage customer orders, enabling them to conveniently access and control audio functions the system from the same devices when required.
Delivering a tailored guest experience
Rather than solving a particular technical challenge, the project aimed to introduce a new level of audio management and operational flexibility for restaurant operators.
“We simply wanted to give a new alternative and a new kind of management to our clients, something they never had before,” explains Lo Sardo.
A major benefit of the AHM platform is its ability to manage multiple zones independently within each venue. This allows restaurant staff to adjust audio levels according to the needs of different spaces and customer preferences.
“It often happens that some guests would rather eat in a place where music isn’t loud, so it was very important to have the ability to change volumes in different areas, so every customer can get the best possible experience,” says Lo Sardo.
To provide even greater flexibility, Vibra Service also implemented separate control of the subwoofers, giving venue operators precise management of low-frequency levels throughout the restaurant to best match the desired ambiance.
One-touch presets for every occasion
The AHM-32 installation has enabled Vibra Service to create a series of customised presets that can be recalled at the touch of a button, allowing staff to quickly adapt the venue’s atmosphere throughout the day.
Presets include configurations for:
Lounge environments
Dinner service
Party mode and DJ performances
Each preset recalls tailored EQ settings and system calibration profiles, ensuring consistent audio performance while removing complexity for non-technical operators.
A growing international partnership
The Crazy Pizza project is one of several hospitality and restaurant/bar installations where Vibra Service has deployed Allen & Heath’s AHM platform. The company has also specified the AHM-32 in other high-profile venues across Europe, including La Rose Des Vents in Monte Carlo.
As Crazy Pizza continues its international expansion, Allen & Heath’s AHM ecosystem is consistently delivering scalable, user-friendly audio management that empowers operators to create the right atmosphere for every guest, every time.
