The Open Day held in the city of São Paulo brought together professionals from the entertainment industry to learn about the latest news from Chauvet Professional and ChamSys. Without a doubt, it was an event that reaffirmed the value of training, closeness, and community within the Brazilian market.

Human connection behind the technology
In a climate of enthusiasm and connection, CHAUVET Professional and ChamSys returned to Brazil with a new edition of their Open Day, held together with Light Motion, the official distributor of the brand in the country.

Paula Ortiz, Business Development Manager for Latin America at CHAUVET Professional, highlighted that the event has already become a highly anticipated occasion for professionals in the sector. “Every year we come to present the latest news from our brands, but also to listen to the new needs of the Brazilian market,” she stated.

The event combined technical demonstrations and product presentations, bringing together lighting designers, operators, rental company technicians, and those responsible for cultural and religious venues. “These meetings allow us to see how technology adapts to different realities—from theater to broadcast or live shows—and to develop strategies together with the distributor that meet the expectations of the current market,” added Ortiz.

Tony Cameron, Sales Director at ChamSys, also participated in the event and emphasized the value of this kind of meeting to strengthen the connection between technology and the professional community. “Events like this allow us to show the true potential of GeNetix, a system that connects the universe of Chauvet Professional luminaires with ChamSys consoles, offering an integrated, intuitive ecosystem designed for the next generation of lighting designers,” he affirmed.

Beyond the technical display, Ortiz focused on the closeness that the brand maintains with its community: “It’s not just about showcasing products, but about maintaining face-to-face relationships, and Chauvet has always stood out for that.”

Finally, she highlighted the importance of the alliance with Light Motion, a relationship that combines local commitment with international support. “Light Motion offers technical support with lots of training and knowledge; that is key for our growth and future projection. Brazil is a dynamic market, and this way of working definitely makes a difference,” she concluded.

After the technical presentations, the gathering continued with a moment of dialogue and reflection within the local technical community.

For Gisele Franco, Administrative Director at Light Motion, the Open Day was much more than a product showcase: it was an opportunity for clients and friends to reunite.

“We are filled with joy to welcome the Chauvet and ChamSys team. It’s a way to bring the brands closer to the Brazilian audience and to show how the products can inspire new forms of creation, as well as having the specialists on site,” she stated.

Of course, all attendees at the Open Day were able to interact directly with luminaires and consoles, creating a relaxed atmosphere with lots of experience-sharing. “The professional market is improving. Technicians need close contact with manufacturers, and these experiences are essential for that connection to happen,” Gisele explained.

According to the businesswoman, Brazilian professionals are increasingly focused on high-performance equipment with functional design, especially quiet and efficient luminaires, and consoles with greater power and connectivity. “Today the market is looking for quality, performance, and versatility. And both Chauvet and ChamSys have solutions that perfectly meet those demands. The new GeNetix ecosystem definitely sparked curiosity and many inquiries from potential customers,” she assured.

Gisele knows that training is a central pillar of Light Motion’s strategy. That’s why she affirms that “We are working together with Chauvet and ChamSys to train more qualified technicians through training sessions that raise the standard. That is the foundation for the industry to grow alongside innovation.”

A community that grows through training and closeness
Without a doubt, the Open Day was a space that reaffirmed the value of bringing together sectors of the industry. And with the technical support of Diego González, product specialist from Chauvet Mexico, the day offered a complete experience.

Diego presented in detail the GeNetix ecosystem, which enables a unified workflow between both brands, more efficient communication, and advanced control within a single network. He explained how this architecture simplifies configuration, reduces installation times, and optimizes the interaction between visual design and live operation.

Additionally, the Maverick Silens 1X Profile was presented in stock—a luminaire that caught everyone’s attention due to its completely silent operation and exceptional optical performance. Designed for studios, theaters, and environments where noise control is essential, it combines a 560 W LED engine with CMY+CTO variable color mixing, 10° to 45° zoom, motorized shutter, and a high-precision optical system. Its ability to deliver clean, uniform projections with no sound emissions makes it an ideal tool for productions that demand power and absolute silence.

With full attendance, the Light Motion showroom made one thing very clear: the industry is built through community. “The goal is to keep strengthening these bonds, building a network of knowledge and support that empowers the entire region. That is our philosophy,” highlights Paula Ortiz.

Thus, Chauvet Professional, ChamSys, and Light Motion solidify their commitment to a future where innovation and people shine equally.
