At ISE 2026, CHAUVET Professional and ChamSys introduced a conceptual proposal that combined technological innovation with a visual narrative inspired by space exploration. Their booth, designed by David Howard, was dominated by a celestial aesthetic where constantly moving planetary imagery was projected onto dark surfaces, creating an immersive environment that reflected the spirit of experimentation shared by both brands.

The staging was not only intended to visually impress visitors, but also to demonstrate how new developments in lighting, control and video can be integrated within the same creative ecosystem. The concept brought together everything from high-power LED luminaires to advanced pixel mapping systems and media servers, reinforcing the idea of an increasingly connected workflow between visual design, programming and technical operation.

ÉPIX Line 10 IP: CHAUVET’s new generation of pixel mapping

Among CHAUVET Professional’s main highlights was the new ÉPIX Line 10 IP series, a pixel mapping solution designed for live entertainment, installations and audiovisual productions that require visual precision and creative flexibility.

Diego González, Chauvet product specialist for the Americas, explained the details of this new family of luminaires. “The new line in the EPYX series is the EPYX Line 10 IP. It’s a one-meter bar with a pixel pitch of 10.”

The new system represents an evolution compared to previous generations within the brand. “These fixtures are a renewal of the older line, as they are up to twice as powerful as the EPYX Strip line, delivering an output of 1,385 lumens in the one-meter format.”

One of the key elements of the system is its optical versatility. “The fixture comes with three types of domes: a square dome, a circular dome and a dome we call the Stealth Filter, which helps avoid the bloom effect when we’re working with camera applications,” González revealed.

The family also includes a compact version. “The EPYX Line 10 S is basically the same product, but in a 50-centimeter format. This is designed to complement the one-meter bars and be used in situations where space is more limited.”

At the core of the system is the ÉPIX D4 IP controller, which acts as the brain of the platform. “We cannot forget what is the brain of the entire EPYX line, the EPYX 4IP processor. This product has four output ports, where using the fixtures at maximum power we can connect six one-meter bars per port, or up to ten bars per port in standard mode.”

This allows for large-scale configurations within a single system. According to Diego, “this would give us a total of 40 bars in standard mode or 24 in high power mode. And for the 50-centimeter bars we can use twice as many fixtures, 20 per line in standard mode or 12 per line in high power mode.”

Connectivity was also a central aspect of the development. “In addition, one of the strengths of the new EPYX system is that we can inject DMX signal through Art-Net or Streaming ACN to control the system.”

The system was designed to integrate into workflows based on visualization and preprogramming. “The new driver processing allows us to generate our files in MBR for My Virtual Rig and export them to other visualization systems.”

This simplifies the workflow between design and real-world operation. “It also allows automatic patching by exporting the patch from a console or simply taking the patch and driver information and sending it to our control system,” Diego González explained.

“ISE 2026 once again demonstrates that innovation in lighting and control is advancing at an extraordinary pace. We are confident that the Latin American market will welcome the new solutions from CHAUVET Professional and ChamSys with great enthusiasm, as they directly respond to the growing demand for creativity, integration, and flexibility from designers and technicians across the region,” Paula Ortiz, Business Development Manager for Latin America at CHAUVET Professional reports.

MediaMaster 26 and the integration between lighting and video

Within the same booth, ChamSys focused much of its presentation on the evolution of its control platform, particularly following the integration of the ArKaos portfolio.

Gonzalo Herranz, ChamSys product specialist for Spain, explained how this addition strengthens the integration between lighting and multimedia content. “As you know, ChamSys consoles were already working with MediaMaster HD, and now we have integration with ArKaos.”

This makes it possible to work directly with media servers within the ChamSys control ecosystem. “We have the ArKaos servers and direct integration with NDI and CITP through MediaMaster.”

MediaMaster software, originally part of the ArKaos ecosystem, is now fully integrated into the ChamSys family. “MediaMaster was the main software from ArKaos that is now part of the ChamSys family.”

The goal of this strategy is to simplify video control within the same lighting programming environment. “The user can see the construction of layers and the control of the servers through an interface that you will find very similar to the one we already worked with in ArKaos. It’s one of the brand’s major commitments to the integration of lighting and video.”

MediaMaster 26: new interface and 4K servers

The most anticipated launch within this line was MediaMaster 26, a new version of the media control software.

James Harrison, product and support manager at ChamSys, explained the details of the development. “At ChamSys we have our MagicQ and QuickQ lighting controllers, but we also have MediaMaster as part of our family.”

The software continues to evolve within the brand’s ecosystem. “MediaMaster Software, MediaPlayback, MediaMaster 26, which we expect to launch by the end of this week. MediaMaster 26 is on its way and it will surprise you.”

The new software introduces significant changes to the user experience. “Available for Windows on PC, the new user interface is responsive.”

At the hardware level, the platform also incorporates new physical servers. “We have three physical servers: VS1, VS2 and VS4+. In short, they provide one 4K source, two 4K sources and four 4K sources respectively,” Harrison explained.

Integration with lighting control consoles continues to be one of the pillars of the system. “And of course, it integrates very well with our MagicQ control systems, with protocols such as CITP.”

In addition, the system allows users to work with real-time video workflows. “NDI live feeds can be brought directly into the console, and we can also share things like stage information between the servers,” James noted.

An ecosystem designed for contemporary visual design

The joint presence of CHAUVET Professional and ChamSys at ISE 2026 reflected an increasingly clear trend within the entertainment industry: the convergence of lighting, video and control within a single creative workflow.

With new luminaires designed for pixel mapping, control systems capable of managing hundreds of universes and media servers integrated directly into the programming environment, both companies reinforced a strategy aimed at simplifying the production of complex visual shows.

In Barcelona, the booth’s space-themed concept was not only an aesthetic choice. It also functioned as a metaphor for an industry that continues to explore new technological and creative frontiers.
