Argentina – From Wednesday, October 7 to Friday, October 9, the 34th edition of the leading event for Technology for the Professional Audiovisual, Entertainment and Broadcast Industries, CAPER SHOW, will take place at the same venue as always -Av. Costanera and Jerónimo Salguero- but now under a new concession and name, BA FERIAL, presenting a modern and innovative offering.

There will also be new opening hours. On Wednesday, October 7 and Thursday, October 8, CAPER SHOW 2026 will open its doors from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., while on Friday, October 9, the hours will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., to facilitate public attendance at the event and at the talks included in the Technical-Academic Program.

On the other hand, the Exhibition will feature more than 400 Argentine and international brands of Professional Audio and Video and Technology solutions for Entertainment, represented through the country’s most important representative and integration companies: ARS Technologies, Audiovisual Systems, Digital Zoom, Dinalight, Equaphon, Glo Pro Audio, Golden Sound, Grupo Tevelam, Imodo, Luxtor, QSLTec, Sanyi Lights, Soundtec, SVC, Teletechnica, Todomúsica, TV Group and Viditec, among others.

Also, this year the Academic Program will include an Immersive Audio Auditorium presented by the Genelec brand, through its representative company Equaphon, with academic curation by AES Argentina, which proposes a program specially designed to complement the listening experience with technical, artistic and production content. The objective is to bring Immersive Audio closer to a broad audience, allowing those who have not yet had the opportunity to learn about this technology to discover it, and those who already work with it to rediscover its possibilities through different listening and analysis experiences.

Immersive Audio has become one of the standards that are transforming the Music and Audiovisual Industry, generating new creative possibilities and modifying production, mixing, distribution and playback processes. In this regard, the Immersive Audio Room at CAPER SHOW 2026 will be an opportunity to listen, learn about and discuss the technologies and methodologies that are defining the present and future of sound.

The agenda, which will bring together prominent professionals linked to Music Production, Audiovisual Audio, Research and new technologies, will include the participation of Sol Rezza, who will address aspects related to research into the front and rear fields in Immersive Audio systems; Fernando Richard, with a proposal focused on the process of creating an Immersive Mix; and Lui Piluso, who will analyze the changes currently taking place in Audio Production and the possibilities of Music Mixing in Dolby Atmos. Eugenio Taboada will also participate, with content related to the use of Immersive Audio in Video Games and Virtual Reality experiences. For her part, Gonzalo Matijas will develop a joint activity between AES Argentina and the Association of Audiovisual Sound Engineers (ASA). The program will also feature the participation of Indio Gauvron and Francisco Bissone, who will address technical aspects related to the calibration of immersive playback systems and Dolby Atmos mixing workflows applied to audiovisual productions.

The academic offering will be complemented by special Immersive Audio listening sessions, designed so that visitors can directly experience the possibilities of these systems and understand, through listening, the differences and opportunities offered by the new formats.

The combination of training and practical experience will be one of the central pillars of the offering: not only talking about Immersive Audio, but also listening to it. In this way, CAPER SHOW 2026 will incorporate a space where technology, knowledge and experience will come together to bring Immersive Audio closer to the entire professional, educational and artistic community.

The Academic Program in the event’s other auditoriums will also include Workshops, Round Tables and Conferences, led by exhibiting companies and the most representative professional organizations in the sector, such as AATIA, the Association of Audio Engineers, SAE and EDA, the country’s two Audiovisual Editors organizations, AAC, the Association of Colorists, and CAPTE, the Chamber that brings together technical suppliers for entertainment, among others.
