Bosnia – The historic Old Bridge of Mostar, known as Stari Most and one of the city’s most emblematic landmarks, hosted a new edition of Sarajevo Matinée on September 12. For the event’s sound system, BMS Light & Sound used a DAS AUDIO setup based on LARA and LARA-SUB.

The main system consisted of 16 LARA, arranged in arrays on both sides of the stage, and 12 LARA-SUB, configured in four stacks of three units. The setup provided the coverage and low-frequency extension required for a program focused on electronic music.

The event’s location, in the heart of Mostar’s historic district and within a very close urban environment, made sound dispersion control especially relevant. In this regard, the cardioid technology of LARA and LARA-SUB helped reduce rearward energy and concentrate more sound pressure on the audience area.

The DJ booth also featured an independent system consisting of four LARA-100 and two LARA-SUB, while other DAS AUDIO systems were used in delay positions to complete coverage in the areas furthest from the stage.

Technical production was handled by BMS Light & Sound, a Bosnian company specializing in sound and lighting solutions for events and a DAS AUDIO partner in the Balkans region. Its team has experience in the technical production of concerts and outdoor events in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Sarajevo Matinée organizes electronic music events in distinctive locations, combining music, art and gastronomy. After holding different events in Sarajevo, the organization chose Mostar to take its concept outside the Bosnian capital for the first time. The event featured DJ Argy, accompanied by other artists from the regional electronic music scene.
