Avolites will have a prominent presence at the 2025 PLASA expo at London’s Olympia next week, on Stand C28 at one of Europe’s premier entertainment technology trade shows, where it will be next door to Robe lighting in what is likely to be one of the busiest areas of the exhibition floor.
A major focus will be on its freshly-launched new range of D-Series control consoles – the D3 – uniting power, performance and portability in a family of five outstanding compact, stylish and fully-featured packages.
The D3 family has been developed for a world constantly on the move, underlining a new and innovative approach from Avolites since becoming ‘A Robe Business’ at the end of 2023.
Smart design, robust engineering and expedient sizing are at the heart of the D3 series philosophy.
The D3-010, D3-110, D3 Wing, D3 Core and D3 Touch are all powered by Avolites’ famous Titan software, offering cost-efficient, intuitive programming and operation, coupled with flexible control for multiple lighting solutions. 30-minute on-stand “Intro to D3 Range” training sessions will run twice daily!
In addition to this, Avo will demonstrate its cutting-edge D9 and D7 lighting consoles.
Created in close consultation with a combination of leading visual and expert industrial designers, Avolites’ D9 – two variants D9-330 and D9-215 – offers vast screen real estate, all-new features, unique media integration and intuitive control of all visual aspects of a show. As with all Avo products, it is hand-crafted in London, UK, guaranteeing Avolites’ heritage of quality and reliability.
The D7 was launched last year again with two options, D7-330 and D7-215. Positioned as the ultimate travel and performance console, it can be packed in a standard Peli Air case and checked in as hold luggage to fly anywhere.
Avo’s T Series – T1, T2, and T3 models – will be available for demo on the stand. This line of – again – portable, professional-level lighting control interfaces is designed around Avo’s powerful and versatile Titan software. T series consoles are ideal for users needing ultimate portability without compromising on advanced show control features.
The Avolites T3 is the latest and most advanced model here, featuring the lightest, smallest, and most affordable hardware that Avo has produced to date – weighing just 3kg and designed to fit in a single backpack! Perfect for travel, cabin baggage, festivals, touring shows, and of course … looking cool with a console!
Avo’s versatile Q-Series media servers – running both Prism and Ai software platforms – will also be at PLASA.
