USA – The International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) has announced that AVIXA’s InfoComm América Latina 2025 has been honored with the 2026 IAEE International Excellence Award, recognizing the event’s outstanding achievements as an inaugural international exhibition and its significant contribution to elevating the global pro AV industry in Latin America.
InfoComm América Latina 2025, held in Mexico City in October 2025, marked a historic milestone as the first fully owned, first-of-its-kind regional pro AV platform in Latin America. The debut event surpassed expectations across every measurable dimension, drawing 5,214 attendees, 3,915 buyers and 61 exhibitors across 2,656 square meters of exhibition space. The event also delivered exceptional educational and professional development value, featuring 47 education sessions, 16 manufacturer trainings and 7 demo rooms.
Post-show survey results further underscored the event’s impact: 96% of attendees called the event important to their business, 93% reported satisfaction with their overall experience, and 96% of exhibitors rated their ROI as very good or excellent – remarkable metrics for a debut event. The 2026 edition is already projected to expand show floor space by 60%, reflecting strong industry confidence in its future.
IAEE President and CEO Marsha Flanagan, M.Ed., CEM presented the 2026 IAEE International Excellence Award at the awards gala held Wednesday evening during IMEX Frankfurt. “It is a sincere pleasure to recognize InfoComm América Latina 2025 for demonstrating what is possible when an organization identifies a genuine market need and executes with precision and purpose,” she said.
