The group has established itself as an absolute reference in Mexico’s nightlife. Its growth is supported by a technological alliance that combines trust, service, and long-term vision. ADJ thus becomes the strategic partner behind one of the brightest stories in Latin American entertainment.

With more than 200 active entertainment venues, Antromex has become one of the largest chains in Latin America. Its formula: reliable technology, personalized attention, and a constant commitment to innovation. At the heart of this strategy is ADJ, a brand that, according to its Production Director Alejandro Vázquez—artistically known as Alex Loop—has accompanied the group’s growth with quality, service, and closeness.

Antromex is a Mexican business group dedicated to entertainment, with a strong presence in nightlife through more than 200 establishments, including restaurants and nightclubs, across various destinations in Mexico. Founded by Octavio Manuel Altamirano Monroy, the group operates in cities such as Mexico City, Cancún, Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos, and Guadalajara, standing out for the variety and originality of its concepts.

“Antromex is a chain of nightclubs and restaurants in Mexico. I believe we are now the biggest in Latin America in terms of entertainment venues,” says Loop. Currently, the group operates around 110 nightclubs and 90 restaurants in Mexico, as well as some bars in cities in the United States and Madrid.

A relationship based on trust
The choice of ADJ and Elation fixtures is no coincidence. “Ninety percent of the lights we have are from ADJ and Elation,” Loop explains. “We’ve tried other options, but they didn’t satisfy us. The quality wasn’t the best. On the other hand, the cost-benefit ratio of ADJ Group’s products has been essential, and they also have a very good service and support center in Mexico. They take care of us; they don’t leave us stranded.”

The executive highlights that available stock is another key factor: “Our projects in Mexico move very quickly; sometimes we have two or three months to plan and build a nightclub. It’s vital that the brand has product available to meet those timelines. Whatever we need, we know we can find it in ADJ’s warehouse. Their stock is always up to date, and for me, that’s extremely important.”

Reliability above all
In a market saturated with alternatives, Loop values the technical reliability and durability of ADJ products: “These are fixtures that are not disposable. In that price range, they are the best option. There are cheaper alternatives but they’re not part of my consideration. In Mexico, there are people who buy directly from AliExpress at very low prices, but they are also buying problems. Others buy products from top-tier companies but they don’t offer the same quality and support that ADJ gives me. We want reliability, we want ADJ products: a brand that has already run its tests, that guarantees correct colorimetry, and that invested time in making durable and precise equipment.”

For Antromex, this decision is not only technical but strategic. “Sometimes, to save a few pesos, others end up using very cheap things. We always choose higher quality for our projects,” he explains.

Projects that set trends
Among recent projects, Alex highlights Spade in Guadalajara, where 70 ADJ Hybrid fixtures were installed, “a reliable Beam Spot Wash that works for practically anything you need to illuminate.” He also mentions Rakata in Cancún, a new venue with lower height where they chose Focus Beam LED: “With ceilings barely two and a half meters high, that fixture was ideal. It’s powerful, lightweight, and adapted perfectly to the space and budget.”

The variety of projects, from beach clubs to more understated restaurants, finds a comprehensive solution in ADJ. “ADJ’s product range covers everything we need. We have beach venues where we face salinity, humidity, and heat, and the brand has both outdoor and indoor product lines. You can play with the inventory depending on the type of project and investment.”

Closeness, support, and team spirit
One of the aspects Loop values most is the human touch of the ADJ team. “I see them as one big family. From Shirley, my sales rep, who replies to my messages at one in the morning or sends me a quote at 11:10 p.m., to Leopoldo ‘Polo’ Nuncio, the marketing manager, and Abraham Levit, their general director, who keeps an eye on our projects. Not everyone does that.”

This fluid communication is also reflected in the daily work of operators: “Our technicians work very well with the brand because they have updated libraries, support, manuals, and immediate response. If we have a question, we contact them and they help us right away.”

A visual and social approach
Regarding public perception, Loop acknowledges a shift in customer expectations: “Today, visitors go out to have fun and look for places that are Instagrammable. What matters is that the photo on social media looks spectacular. We focus heavily on creating visual atmospheres that stand out in that sense. The light beams from ADJ products are ideal for the camera.”

Among so many fixtures, Alex has a favorite: Focus Flex, which he calls his “Trojan horse.” “It has a 300-watt source, very good color and speed, it’s not heavy, and it’s reliable. We have units that have been running for years without a single issue.”

Two decades of experience
With 19 years of history, Antromex was born in Mexico and continues to expand today. Alex, originally a DJ, grew alongside the group: “I started as a DJ, then moved on to design, operate, and program. Now I lead the production side, taking care of everything related to audio, video, and lighting. Sometimes I still treat myself to spinning at one of our venues, but now just as a hobby.”

In closing, Loop leaves a strong statement: “If you multiply 50 fixtures by 100 venues, you get an idea of what we manage. I believe we are ADJ’s largest client in the Americas.” And it’s no exaggeration: on the map of Mexican nightlife, ADJ shines with its own strength thanks to the vision and consistency of a client that bet on quality and ended up positioning the brand as the manufacturer with the greatest presence in Mexico’s nightclubs.

Antromex not only represents a story of sustained growth, but also an emblematic case of technological loyalty. Its constant choice of ADJ reflects a relationship based on trust, support, and joint evolution.
