Alfalite has obtained both the NCAGE Code (NATO Commercial and Government Entity) and TAA (Trade Agreements Act) compliance certification, marking a major milestone in the company’s international growth strategy.
These two certifications enable Alfalite to participate in defense and governmental procurement projects across NATO member states and the U.S. government, including contracts requiring strict compliance and traceability standards.
Alfalite is now one of a select group of LED display manufacturers with both TAA and NCAGE Code certification.
The NCAGE Code, issued under NATO’s Codification System, officially registers Alfalite as a recognised supplier within the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) database. It opens the door for the company to participate in mission-critical, high-security projects within the defence, security, and institutional sectors across NATO allies.
In parallel, Alfalite has achieved TAA compliance, referring to adherence to the Trade Agreements Act (TAA), a United States federal law enacted in 1979. TAA compliance is particularly relevant for companies supplying products to the U.S. federal government, including contracts under the General Services Administration (GSA). Therefore, products made by Alfalite in Spain are eligible for U.S. federal contracts that require TAA compliance.
This certification is reinforced by Alfalite’s Spanish Certificate of Origin, which certifies the country of manufacture and is essential for determining eligibility under trade agreements, as well as for calculating duties and tariffs.
The certifications reinforce Alfalite’s leadership in workspace, control room, and Security Operations Centre (SOC) environments, where its LED displays are already deployed—often confidentially—in mission-critical facilities belonging to Ministries of Defence and Interior, military command centres, royal institutions, major telecom operators, and global news agencies. These trusted installations confirm the reliability and security performance of Alfalite’s technology in sensitive and highly regulated operational contexts.
The certifications arrive as Alfalite unveils several technological developments. At ISE 2025, the company introduced its next-generation MATIX AlfaCOB (Chip-on-Board) and AlfaMIP (MicroLED-in-package) technologies—winner of the Best of Show award at ISE 2025—which further enhance its proprietary ORIM® (Optical Injection Resin Module) platform with improved impact resistance, superior contrast, and ultra-wide viewing angles.
Already deployed in many of the mission-critical environments mentioned above, MATIX technology has become the trusted choice for demanding applications such as control rooms and Security Operations Centres, where performance, durability, and visual precision are essential. Notably, MATIX also holds Visual Comfort certification, a key requirement in these high-attention environments.
