From Barcelona, the company’s team analyzes technological trends, market opportunities and the role of the region in the global evolution of the audiovisual industry.

Each year, Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) brings together manufacturers, distributors, integrators and professionals from the audiovisual sector from around the world in Barcelona, creating a space where technological innovation, business strategy and global networking converge.

In this context, the presence of Latin American companies continues to gain relevance within the international ecosystem. For Wholestage, participating in the show does not simply mean attending product launches or evaluating equipment; it represents a strategic opportunity to strengthen relationships with manufacturers, analyze global trends and anticipate how those technologies will reach Latin American markets.

With more than 25 years of experience in the entertainment and audiovisual integration industry, Wholestage has established itself as a platform that connects technology, knowledge and market development for the entertainment sector across Latin America.

With headquarters and active presence in Mexico, Central America, South America, Miami, the Caribbean and Spain, the company represents and develops globally leading brands while also promoting integration projects, technical training and specialized support for professionals, venues and companies in the sector.

Beyond distributing technology, Wholestage focuses on building infrastructure and capabilities that help raise the technical standard of the industry throughout the region.

From Barcelona, Luis Duque, CEO of Wholestage, highlights that the true value of ISE lies in its ability to bring together a large portion of the global audiovisual ecosystem in a single place.

For Duque, more than a technology trade show, the event functions as a meeting point where manufacturers, integrators and industry professionals share their perspectives on the future of the sector and the transformations that will shape the coming years.

“ISE is one of the most valuable spaces to understand where our industry is heading. Innovation, talent and vision converge here. For us, it is an opportunity not only to strengthen relationships with clients and partners, but also to identify which technologies and approaches can help continue raising the standard of the industry in Latin America.”

In recent years, the exhibition has experienced steady growth both in size and in its relevance within the industry. For Karla Basalo, CFO of Wholestage, this growth is also reflected in the business environment that surrounds the event.

“ISE has evolved significantly in recent years. It has not only grown in scale, but also in the quality of the conversations that take place. You can feel a very active ecosystem where manufacturers, integrators and distributors are exploring new forms of collaboration and project development.”

For Basalo, this dynamic also reflects an important evolution within the audiovisual industry in Latin America.

“We are seeing more and more Latin American professionals and companies with a clear vision for growth, willing to invest in technology and develop projects with a higher technical level. This shows that the region is entering a stage of greater maturity within the industry.”

During their tour of the exhibition, the Wholestage team analyzed various innovations in audio, lighting and control that could have an impact on the Latin American market.

As part of its role in regional market development, the team constantly evaluates which technologies can generate the greatest value for clients, integrators and producers throughout Latin America.

From a commercial perspective, Alex Varela, sales manager for Colombia, highlights that this edition of ISE offers an opportunity to identify solutions that can respond directly to the needs of clients in the region.

“ISE is a very valuable space for us because it allows us to see first-hand the innovations that manufacturers are developing and analyze how they can bring real value to our clients. Our focus is to understand which solutions can improve the technical and operational experience of projects being developed in Latin America.”

Among the launches that generated the most interest for the team is the new DJ system from L-Acoustics, designed to create immersive audio experiences in environments such as clubs, social events and live performances.

In a region where the growth of live entertainment continues to expand, solutions like this open new possibilities for sound designers, producers and venues seeking to deliver increasingly immersive experiences with a higher technical standard.

In this regard, Israel Rapp, sales manager for Mexico, believes that this technology could see strong adoption within the regional market.

“This type of solution opens new opportunities for markets such as clubs, venues and live events. Our goal is to support our clients not only with high-level technology, but also with technical guidance and close support so they can fully take advantage of these innovations in their projects.”

In the lighting segment, one of the most notable launches was Eagle Strike from Ayrton, the first follow spotlight developed by the French manufacturer, which is widely recognized in the industry for its focus on innovation and technological development in stage lighting. Designed for large-scale show applications, this new fixture expands the brand’s portfolio toward increasingly specialized solutions for high-level productions.

For the Wholestage team, this development reflects Ayrton’s ongoing evolution in engineering and design, offering new tools for lighting designers and productions that demand precision, power and versatility on stage.

Alongside this launch, another fixture that drew attention was MagicDot Neo, a versatile solution that continues to expand the manufacturer’s portfolio while reinforcing its presence in contemporary lighting design.

New developments also reached the control and integration segment. Among the solutions that caught the team’s attention are two new DMX nodes developed by MA Lighting, designed to facilitate the integration and expansion of control systems in different types of installations and productions.

This type of development reflects the German manufacturer’s interest in continuing to expand access to its powerful control ecosystem, allowing more professionals to take advantage of the advanced capabilities of its renowned software.

According to Jonathan del Villar, CTO of Wholestage, these solutions represent an important step toward the democratization of high-end control tools within the industry.

“MA Lighting continues to evolve its platform with solutions that allow the power and flexibility of its software to reach an increasingly broad user base. These types of tools make it easier to integrate robust systems into projects of different scales, something that is especially relevant for growing markets such as those in Latin America.”

At the close of the exhibition, the conclusion for the Wholestage team is clear: ISE continues to consolidate its position as one of the main barometers of the global audiovisual industry.

Beyond specific launches, the event makes it possible to identify trends, evaluate technologies and, above all, build relationships that later translate into concrete projects across Latin America.

In this context, the role of companies like Wholestage is to connect global innovation with the realities of the Latin American market, driving projects, technical training and solutions that contribute to raising the industry’s standards throughout the region.
