The Shure SE846 sound-isolating earphones have long been a byword for high-performance audio in the professional music industry and audiophiles. Now, ten years after the original launch, Shure has announced the debut of the second-generation model of these celebrated earphones. The updated SE846 earphones now come in two new colors and feature a selectable sound signature, wider sleeve assortment, plus updated packaging.

The SE846 Gen 2 is now available in two new metallic colors: Jade and Graphite, along with an updated Clear model. The two-tone design of the Graphite and Jade versions presents a color on the exterior shell while still showcasing the precision-engineered components through a transparent casing.

The earphones contain the same universal sound isolating design and four precision-engineered drivers as the previous generation. The drivers are tailored to blend precisely with each other and deliver extended high-end clarity. In addition, an exclusive low-pass filter design serves up a bottom-end performance like a true subwoofer, but without sacrificing a single detail.
