For the first time, SGM will showcase the new P-2, Q-2
and Q-2W LED fixtures — respectively based on the groundbreaking technology
behind the P-5 wash light and the multifunction Q-7/Q7W (wash, blind, strobe)
which have all raised the industry standards. Providing an even smaller
physical footprint, these extremely compact units will provide easy and quick
setup, while at the same time maintaining the IP65 rating which is one of the
characteristics of the SGM portfolio.
Taking it a step further, the 18 lenses in P-2 are
divided into 3 individually controllable segments with RGBW colours. Containing
18 high power 10W RGBW LEDs, P-2 has a light output of 11,500 lumen – 1,885
lumen per kilo – and an efficacy of 58 lm/W, offering a variation of beam
angles, with 15°, 21° and 43° interchangeable lenses.
Q-2’s 864 LEDs are divided into 3 individually
controllable segments with RGBW colours. It has an impressive light output of
12,000 lumen – 2,000 lumen per kilo – and an efficacy of 60 lm/W. Q-2W is
divided into 12 individually controllable segments – revolutionary for such a
compact device. It has a staggering cool white light output of no less than
26,000 lumen – 4,333 lumen per kilo – an efficacy of 130 lm/W. Both Q-2 and Q-2W
both come with a fixed beam angle of 110°.
Due to the many possibilities, implementing P-2 and
Q-2/Q-2W in your light design will generate wide-ranging colour and effect
combinations.
Further to this, SGM will show last year’s winner of the
PLASA Innovation Award, the G-Spot, in a new framing version as well as an
add-on framing shutter module to the original G-Spot.
