A very successful Palm Expo show has just taken place in
Beijing’s China International Exhibition Centre. SGM exhibited a selection from
the vast product portfolio in cooperation with Sanecore (IAG Group) – new SGM
distributor for China, Macao, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
A lot of both old and new friends and visited the well-equipped
booth and stopped by to meet the team and SGM CEO, Peter Johansen, who was also
present during the exhibition. Johansen said: “This successful trade show collaboration between SGM and Sanecore
marks the beginning of what will hopefully become a long and equally successful
future cooperation. All in all a very successful kickoff on our strategy to
conquer the Chinese and Southeast Asian markets.”
While in recent years, Sanecore (IAG Group) has primarily
concentrated on audio, the company is no stranger to the lighting industry as
the working relationship between Michael Chang, President of Sanecore (IAG
Group) and Peter Johansen goes back to the nineties. Chang said: “We are extremely pleased to be back in the
lighting business and especially as a partner of SGM. We look forward to more
successful experiences in the future with SGM.”
To
reinforce SGM’s position in the Southeast Asian Markets, Sanecore (IAG Group)
has brought on a local expert in lighting technology and solutions, Louis Chen.
Chen has previously been employed with Kupo and has an extensive knowledge
about SGM and the SGM product portfolio.
