USA – Samsung Electronics America has launched the WAFX-P, a premium interactive display designed for education and corporate environments, offering a range of built-in collaboration tools and AI-powered features.
Available in 65in, 75in and 86in sizes, the display runs on Android 15 with an Octa-Core CPU and delivers 450-nit brightness. It supports dual-pen input and multi-touch interaction for up to 50 users simultaneously, when connected to a Windows device via OPS or external PC.
A built-in 4K camera – supplied with a privacy cover – enables connection with remote participants and virtual guests. Integrated microphones and dual 20-watt speakers handle audio, while a Live Caption function generates on-screen captions for video and audio content, though Samsung says accuracy may vary depending on accent, background noise and speaking speed.
AI features including Circle to Search, AI Summary and Live Transcript are planned to arrive via a software update later in 2026. The display integrates with Google Classroom and Google Drive, and a 3-in-1 USB-C port supports touch control, screen connection and device charging from a single cable.
For meetings and hybrid working scenarios, the WAFX-P supports simultaneous screen sharing from up to nine devices, allowing content to move between the main display and personal devices.
Device management is handled through Samsung’s on-premise Device Management Solution (DMS), which the company says allows administrators to push content updates and emergency alerts across a fleet of displays from a central location.
