From its headquarters in Mexico City, Meyer Sound combines technological precision with deeply human attention.
With over 25 years of presence in the country, this regional office not only represents the Californian brand throughout Latin America, but also drives its expansion through direct technical support, specialized training, and a philosophy of closeness that places the user at the center of every solution.

In the heart of vibrant and colorful Mexico City, an office merges high-level engineering, personalized service, and a passion for sound.

This is Meyer Sound Mexico, the regional headquarters of one of the most respected companies in the world of professional audio, responsible for representing, distributing, and providing technical support for the Californian brand’s systems across Latin America.

From this strategic hub, not only are projects and sales managed within Mexico, but the growth of Meyer Sound throughout the region is also driven, maintaining direct ties with end users, designers, integrators, and technicians in the entertainment, fixed installation, and broadcast industries.

But beyond the numbers or product catalog, what’s most palpable in this office is a clear philosophy: sound excellence begins with human connection. And that’s why we visited—to see from the inside how the local team of one of the most iconic brands in professional audio operates.

The Meyer Sound Mexico office is led by Antonio Manzo Rojas, Director of Sales, who welcomed us to explain how the office operates and the brand’s focus in the country.

“We are strategically located in Mexico City, which allows us to efficiently serve our clients across the country,” explains Manzo. “From here we coordinate logistics and technical support for projects throughout the Mexican territory, combining operational agility with specialized technical service.”

With more than two decades of experience in the country, the office has become a strategic base for serving both the national and Latin American markets. “This office has been established since 1997. We’ve been working with the Mexican market for many years,” Antonio notes.

Today, the team is made up of about 10 people specialized in support, service, design, education, and project development, allowing them to offer comprehensive solutions with both a technical and human approach. “We have people who design for projects, and we are also here to help with whatever is needed. We’re here to serve,” he says with a smile.

Among the voices that drive local operations, Hugo Arce, Technical Sales Manager for Mexico and Latin America, stands out for his deep understanding of the system and his active role in regional support. “Meyer Sound Mexico is a company directly connected to the factory. We are not distributors—we are Meyer Sound,” he emphasizes.

All key areas of the brand are managed from this office: logistics, sales, support, and system design. “We want people to know and understand what we do here. All sales operations are managed directly from Mexico, and we also provide support throughout Latin America,” explains Hugo. Together with his team, he supports clients of various profiles, providing technical assistance in system tuning and design with the direct backing of the factory.

But the Meyer Sound Mexico office is more than just a logistics hub. From this space, a wide range of activities are coordinated that are key to the brand’s positioning and performance in the country.

“We manage various functions, such as technical advice, specialized training, project support, and commercial service,” says Antonio. “From selecting the right system to deployment and follow-up.”

“In addition to logistical operations, we offer technical training and post-sales support as part of our commitment to quality,” he adds.

One of the fundamental pillars of the local team is ongoing education. Meyer Sound Mexico regularly organizes specialized courses for audio professionals, focused on system installation, tuning, and operation. “The frequency varies depending on demand and technological updates,” Manzo notes, stressing that training is not an add-on, but part of the brand’s DNA.

In the same spirit of technical closeness, the facility also includes an authorized service center that allows local repairs not only for Mexico, but also for the region. This direct support offers a clear advantage for users who need fast, reliable solutions without having to ship equipment abroad.

When it comes to product availability, Meyer Sound Mexico maintains a flexible and strategic approach. “Our philosophy is to stay close to the customer’s needs, so we aim to respond quickly to the most common requests in coordination with our headquarters,” he explains. This ensures an efficient response for demanding projects, with inventory and logistics tailored to the Latin American market.

One of the brand’s most significant recent launches has been the Panther system, its flagship line array, which has quickly conquered the local market. “Fortunately, it’s been very well received by production companies, engineers, and artists alike,” Manzo says enthusiastically. The impact has been impressive: “In Mexico, we’ve been fortunate to sell over 380 Panthers in less than two years, the vast majority to rental and production companies, and others to fixed installations that will soon be announced.”

Given the wide range of configurations Meyer Sound offers, inventory management must be smart and dynamic. “We operate under an agile and personalized inventory model, focused on high-turnover products,” Antonio explains.

The distribution process within the country is also designed to adapt to various types of projects and client profiles. “Our clients can easily access our products through a flexible and collaborative logistics model,” he says.

All operations from the Mexico office are aligned with the brand’s international standards. “We have a constant relationship with the U.S. headquarters, which allows us to operate in line with Meyer Sound’s global standards,” Manzo emphasizes.

That direct connection with the central team ensures that every action—from training to technical support—follows the same philosophy of innovation, quality, and service that defines the brand worldwide.

At the Meyer Sound Mexico service center, one of the pillars of operation is Marco Antonio Mendoza, who has been part of the team since 1998. With over 25 years of experience, he is in charge of the technical area where all tests, repairs, and equipment preparations are carried out.

“We handle the entire service center area, warehousing, and equipment delivery. All tests are performed here—checking amplifiers, electronics, and some components,” he explains. His workspace, equipped with factory tools and original spare parts, is essential for ensuring the technical continuity of every Meyer Sound system in the country.

This Mexican operation holds a distinctive value: it is the only direct Meyer Sound service center in Mexico. “There’s no other. We have sufficient stock for immediate delivery of all spare parts,” Mendoza states. He also highlights one of the brand’s core policies: “Repairs, as is always the case with Meyer, are handled at the modular level. There are no component-level fixes. That’s part of the quality control the factory always demands.”

His message is clear—for long-time clients and those just discovering the brand: “We have support, we have spare parts, we have direct response. Don’t hesitate to choose Meyer Sound.”

In terms of the most active sectors, live entertainment remains one of the main drivers—but it’s not the only one. “We’re seeing significant growth in areas like fixed installations, especially in cultural venues and exhibition spaces,” Manzo adds.

Regarding current trends, the Mexico team also sees a clear evolution in technical demands. “Users are increasingly seeking high-performance solutions with energy efficiency and compatibility with advanced digital systems,” he concludes.

The Mexico office has also been involved in high-profile projects, demonstrating the versatility of Meyer Sound’s technology. “We’ve had the honor of participating in high-level installations in cultural venues and theme parks, which showcase the potential of our technology across various environments,” Manzo shares—without disclosing names, as discretion is often key in such cases.

Looking ahead, the focus remains steady. “We will stay committed to innovation, ongoing training, and technical support to strengthen our presence in Mexico,” he affirms. As part of that growth, internal improvements are also underway: “We are constantly evolving, adapting to new market needs and improving our facilities to offer a better experience to our users.”

From its base in Mexico City, Meyer Sound reaffirms its commitment to the region: a bridge between global technological excellence and the human warmth that defines the Latin American market.

“For us, each project is an opportunity to share the science of sound and build long-term relationships with those who trust our technology,” Antonio concludes.

Looking forward, he also highlights the brand’s commitment to developing new technologies, such as immersive audio. “Meyer Sound has been developing immersive sound for many years—in terms of products and innovation. And this is one of the core areas we continue to push from Mexico, supporting the market’s evolution with solutions that make a difference.”

From first contact to post-sales support, operations in Mexico reflect the values that have made Meyer Sound a global benchmark: precision, innovation, and a human approach that places the user at the center of every solution.

To all of this, the local office adds its own signature: the closeness, warmth, and commitment that are distinctly Latin American—making every project a genuine relationship, built on trust and shared knowledge.
