LANG is expanding its LED portfolio with LIAM, a transparent product that takes lightness and image quality to a new level.
The cabinet measures 1x1m, weighs just 12kg, and is therefore particularly easy to handle. It has a pixel pitch of 6.25mm, a brightness of 4,200 nits, and a transparency of 50 percent to ensure clear, detailed images.
“The combination of active matrix and its light weight makes LIAM a unique product in the transparent LED sector – and a real game-changer for creative stage applications, especially outdoors,” says Svenja Mevissen, director of LED & displays at LANG AG.
Thanks to active matrix technology with integrated driver IC, each LED is controlled individually. This prevents annoying scan lines, ensures high viewing comfort, and enables a brilliant and uniform image – even for video and photo recordings.
The IP65 protection class and a resistant GOB surface make LIAM weatherproof, robust and ideal for outdoor use. Areas of application include large stages, concerts, backdrops, and television productions. The cabinets can be installed in a faceted, concave, or convex configuration at angles of up to 20 degrees, opening up a wide range of design possibilities. The curving connectors required for this are manufactured in-house, allowing any desired radius to be individually implemented.
LIAM is available as a complete solution with dollies and stacking solutions.
By introducing LIAM, LANG is broadening its existing range of transparent LED solutions to include this pioneering product while further strengthening its successful collaboration with Muxwave. As the exclusive distributor, LANG will be responsible for selling this innovative product until April 2026.
