San Marino RTV – the broadcaster of the Republic of San
Marino – is a modern structure, integrated into a multimedia system that
includes 2 radios and a web portal, sanmarinortv.sm. San Marino RTV broadcasts
on four DDT channels and on one channel of international satellite TV; in
Italy, it reaches 5 million households with the Sky platform on ch 520. The
unique format of San Marino RTV has made the success of the broadcaster: an
information of international scope, focused on politics, news, society and
culture issues; and at the same time, the ability to intercept and explain the
implications of the main events in the local reality. Another important factor
in the popularity of San Marino RTV is the partnerships with some of the most
famous names in Italian television journalism, such as Luciano Onder and Maurizio
Costanzo, conductors of major talk shows in prime time.
The autumn schedule is intended to enrich the success of
the broadcaster with an absolute exclusive: in fact, the 10 episodes of a new
show entitled \’Pippo Baudo presents: an evening on Titan\’, hosted by the
‘Prince’ of Italian television anchors, are being recorded in San Marino RTV
studios. It will be the story of some genres very popular among the general
public, from opera to film to soap opera, conducted with his usual grace and
intelligence by Pippo Baudo, and enriched by a large repertoire of television
material as well as an audience of guests who come from the world of culture
and entertainment.
For \’Pippo Baudo presents: an evening on Titan\’, the
production has created a circular scene where the stage and the VIP audience
face each other. Three series of side drapes define the space between the two
areas and emphasizes the depth of the studio. A lighting system consisting of
JACK and NRG 1201 moving heads has been hung on the horizontal trusses of the
large studio. The lighting programming perfectly supports this elegant show,
with great attention paid to every chromatic detail. The JACKs project
evocative textures on the floor, combining colors, gobos and prism, creating a
seamless link between stage and audience. The NRG 1201 fixtures color the stage
and side draping, outlining the very center of the talk show.?A refined
lighting that defines a specific mood for the new show of Pippo Baudo.
