From Integrated Systems Europe in Barcelona, the MMT Chile team once again walked the aisles of the most influential technology exhibition in the audiovisual industry. With a portfolio that integrates leading brands in professional audio, video and lighting, the Chilean company uses each edition of ISE to identify innovations, strengthen relationships with manufacturers and anticipate the solutions that will later arrive in the regional market.
Felipe Gamelli, commercial manager at MMT, explained that the company’s presence at the exhibition responds to a clear strategy: staying close to the technological evolution of the brands that are part of its ecosystem. “We are here at ISE 2026 in Barcelona visiting different brands that complement the solutions we deliver to our clients. For us it is essential to closely follow the technology presented at this show so that we can bring those solutions to the projects being developed in Chile,” he said.
For MMT, walking the exhibition floor is also a key opportunity for technical and commercial networking. The company’s working model is based on generating synergy between the different brands in its portfolio in order to solve complex projects within the audiovisual world. “We are a wholesale company that represents different innovative brands for the audio and video market. Our goal is to deliver the best solutions for projects in Chile, and for that it is crucial to be here seeing new technologies and strengthening the relationship with the brands we represent,” Gamelli noted.
According to the executive, that vision allows different technologies to converge within a single project. “For us it is very important to build networking with the brands and create synergy between them, because many times projects require the integration of different technologies to achieve a complete solution,” he added, emphasizing that the ultimate goal is to support integrators and users in the development of increasingly sophisticated audiovisual projects.
One of the stops led the team to the Shure booth, where a new solution designed for corporate environments and videoconferencing rooms was presented: the IntelliMix Bar Pro, an all-in-one communication bar that integrates audio processing and multiple cameras in a single device.
The system incorporates four cameras with IntelliMix technology and advanced processing tools designed to improve intelligibility in acoustically complex spaces. Among its features are Denoiser and Deverb technologies, which help reduce noise and reverberation in rooms with challenging acoustics, especially in corporate environments where voice clarity is essential for unified communications.
In addition to audio processing, the device integrates an internal switch with PoE+, allowing expanded connectivity or integration with other devices within a meeting or conference room. “It’s an all-in-one bar with four cameras and IntelliMix processing that is set to revolutionize the market. It particularly helps in rooms with high reverberation and improves audio intelligibility, while also offering very precise image quality for unified communications,” the team explained during the product presentation.
The tour of the exhibition also included the world of professional lighting, one of the segments where MMT maintains a strong presence in the Chilean market.
Simón Manrique, representative of the professional lighting area and a close collaborator with the company, visited the MA Lighting booth, where the brand presented a new tool aimed at those looking to take their first steps within the lighting control ecosystem.
The new DMX Key was conceived as a compact solution that allows users to operate MA software directly from a computer, expanding access to the platform for students, emerging programmers and small productions. “MA launched two versions of this tool: one called Starter, which provides 1,024 parameters, and a more advanced version with 4,096 parameters, equivalent to what a Command Wing or an MA node would offer,” Manrique reported.
The device can also connect to different network protocols used in professional lighting systems. “From this small interface you can operate MA software directly from your computer and connect to protocols such as sACN or Art-Net to control the entire system,” he added, emphasizing that the tool is designed to facilitate the entry of new generations into the MA Lighting ecosystem.
The tour of ISE also included a stop at the Claypaky booth, where a new evolution of the iconic Sharpy was presented, one of the most recognized beam fixtures in entertainment lighting design.
During the demonstration, the new Ultimo Sharpy was showcased, maintaining the same dimensions and weight as the Sharpy Plus while incorporating technical improvements aimed at more demanding productions. “This new Ultimo Sharpy features IP66 protection, two prism wheels that can be overlapped, and it keeps the same color and gobo wheel from the original Sharpy,” Manrique explained.
The fixture also incorporates a 250-watt light engine and a lamp with a lifespan of more than 6,000 hours, consolidating its position as an evolution of the classic beam that marked an era in entertainment lighting. “It’s practically a renewed Rolls-Royce: a unique world-class beam that maintains the spirit of the original Sharpy but updated for today’s productions,” he added.
As part of its strategy to bring these technologies closer to the Chilean market, MMT announced that the Ultimo Sharpy, Claypaky’s new addition, will soon be available in the company’s showrooms, where integrators, designers and professionals will be able to experience its technical features and applications in real projects.
For MMT, these visits to international exhibitions play a strategic role: identifying innovations, strengthening relationships with manufacturers and anticipating the solutions that will later be introduced to the regional market.
In Gamelli’s words, the objective is clear: “Our commitment is to bring the highest technology solutions to the region and support our clients in the challenges they face today in their audiovisual projects.”
From ISE 2026, the message is clear: global innovation does not stay at the trade show. For MMT Chile, every walk through the exhibition aisles is part of a process that ultimately reaches the local market, bringing technology, knowledge and new possibilities to integrators, designers and professionals who are shaping the future of the audiovisual industry in the region.
