Once again this
year a top-class jury of seven Swiss event professionals came together to vote
on this year’s XAVER
Award, which recognizes outstanding achievements in the fields of
live communication in the Alpine region.
In a total of
seven categories, the jury — chaired by Claus Holtmann — awarded various
finalists, such as the Athletics World Cup 2014 (in the category \”Best
Supplier Project\”), the Toasted Challenge, a fun sports event that scooped
the \”Best Public Event” award and Public XAVER award chosen by the
audience.
Technical service provider for the glitzy event at the Messe Zürich was Winkler Multi Media Events AG from Wohlen, and Roni Huber the Senior Project Leader
and Key Account Manager at Winkler, called on GLP’s latest X4
Bar 20 LED battens.
In an entertaining
and captivating stage show each of the nominated projects was presented in
front of the jury before they announced the respective winners. The heart of
the show stage was a projection screen, framed by a total of 16 of the new X4
Bars.
For Roni Huber it
was clear that for this event just any strip light would not have sufficed. “It
had to be something appropriate and special for the occasion,” he said.
\”The X4 Bars have an incredible punch and in tight beam mode they cut
impressively through the room.\”
After the
successful XAVER event, it became clear to Huber that Winkler needed to invest
in these Bars. So they immediately ordered 92 pieces of X4 Bar 20, which are
now available from Winkler’s rental fleet.
